on my fist listen through and the album is good imo.Dont think Blaze ruined anything.I bet people wont dig this as much as the others but its just different.Great production on it.Definitely will grow on ya.
I do agree that he is off on a few of the faster instrumentals but I’m sort of used to it with Blaze by now so its w/e he did his thing on a few tracks on there for sure…overall I need to give it a few more listens but I really like it…its different in a lot of ways while still being the same Lotus and I can tell they did a bit of experimenting here and there…some things didn’t work as well as others but I dig it…not sure how I would compare to other DL albums right now though
also really liked the production all in all…really bumps with good speakers…a nice mix of the creepy, darker Lotus stuff as well as some different stuff here and there

I dig the fuck outta it. the production is killer. actually suprised for once.. It’s gotta be MEC on this.
Some choruses are wack as fuck tho Morbid could of been so much better.
agreed about SOME of the choruses but considering what Psychopathic dishes out chorus-wise these days I thought it was actually pretty sick and reminiscent of the older stuff (tracks like Garden of Eden, Debbie In The Dark, the intro chant, etc)…as far as who did the production I know MEC probably did some of it but also sounds like Seven, Fritz the Cat, and Kuma contributed production as well according to interviews (will have to peep the album credits when my copy arrives in the mail)

I’m def happier with this than opaque.. fucking hated that cd.
I listened to this cd 3 times already, and i’m diggin it alot. 7/10 for me. Psy’s best cd in years front to back. Amb don’t count, I just never liked em.
They should of closed with “the drought” i like taht song more than let it rain

tbh I liked Opaque for the most part…my only issues were the mixing of the album which sounded a bit sloppy…otherwise I actually liked the song concepts and aside from a couple weak songs thought it was a pretty solid record

the singing is my fave on the drought, new voice from madrox i never heard him sing like that and i really dug it alot. I didn’t like the trap style beats on this cd, if those weren’t on here this cd would be the shit.. cougaulate is dope, madrox and mono r my fave on there.
twiztid > icp for this whole cd. I just can’t fuck with blaze on here which suprises me cause i usually like him

only thing I didn’t like about Coagulate was that I really wish they had thrown the hook in there one last time after J’s verse at the end rather than it fading out with him chanting Lotus…otherwise one of my favorites on here (think Seven did that beat too sounds like something he’d do but not sure)…I do wish Madrox had done a bit more singing on the choruses as well as The Drought was fucking awesome (that verse of his on there as well is probably my favorite of his on the album right now)…I do wish there had been a bit less trap/dubstep influence as it seems like Blaze and Shaggy struggled with those at times and would have liked more slower, eerier stuff like TFTLP had…only minor gripes though really liking it so far
