the logistics of moving that much water around a convention hall makes a dunk tank or anything similar infeasible.

okay, heres what it is…  

i needs to know, PRONTO, who is for certain gonna be at the DCGCON, that would be willing to setup and work an FLH Forum Midway, and who is prepared to get to hackin away at it fairly soon.  

obviously it puts a bit more of a rush on things, but the main thing is, i gotta know if it can be done, and everyone who would be involved, right the fuck away.  basicly, now.  at latest, by sunday night.  

but…  if we can guarantee the event will go down proper, there is a fairly substantial space available, right fuckin now, that we can have for a for-real FLH Forum Midway.  IF there is no question that the people runnin it will hook up all the hookups in time, appear when theyre sposed to, work it when their sposed to, and the thing has at least a modicum of quality to it.  games must be free to play, prizes are more or less incidental.  

this is a strike-while-the-iron-is-hot kinda deal, so dont dillydally.  if you wants to see this happen, get at me posthaste!  

ima put this in the gathering event thread, too, just in case.  but in any case, all yaz that would like to help throw a fully sanctioned midway event at the dcgcon, tell me immediately.  post it, pm it, email it, i dont give a fuck, but speak on it, while ya have a chance to.

I work at an elementary school. They usually have an annual carnival. Most of that stuff is gonna be low skill and catered to little kiddos, but if I play my cards right maybe they would let me borrow a couple. As long as someone doesn’t steal the fucking tricycle…

thats actually not such a bad thing.  the con is sposed to be kiddo-friendly, or as close to it as juggalos get.  lotsa juggalos brought their kiddos last year.  

kinda makes me wish i had come up with sumn specificly to cater to the kiddos.  although, as it turned out, they liked jenga bomb as well or better than anybody else did.  

but if I play my cards right maybe they would let me borrow a couple.
