Does ScottieD need to know exactly whats going on or just a general idea as of right now? Like could you just say yah we want 4, 8’x8′ spots and well figure it out from there. bear in mind that i, myself, have already got other con-related shit that im committed to.  so, there may be some limits to my ability to contribute to a midway, especially once the thing starts.

incidentally, the art show thing aint gon be like the ‘art contests’ of before.  this one is sposed to be more of a gallery showing, meant for the serious pro or semi-pro artists.  i cant wait to see it, i intend to take a long close look, cuz there will most likely be works for sale, and i might cop one or two.  but its beyond my talent level, for me to try bein in the thing myself.

i dont know this, but id figure that anybody talkin bout workin half the time is gonna be, how to put it, a subcontractor.  if you will.  whenever we get back at em with a confirmation [this seems to be very nearly confirmed], the ninjas committed to the whole thing are probably the ones gonna get badges or whatnot;  the part-timers are, id expect, gonna get a ‘thats very nice of you’.  speculation. 

dont get me wrong, the midway needs all the help it can get, cuz its competing with the freshness of literally every other event at the con, so errbody please kick in if ya can.

So, I don’t know what kinda after parties that PSY has planned for us Sunday night, if any, but I’ll likely duck out to set up at home a bit early that night… unless there’s some unforgettable concert afterwards? If so, I will have to work on the plans a bit. We have a lot of time to do so, so that’s swell.
It will be a limited sized party, probably no more than 10… but we will see.

I think instead of giving out prizes we should give out tickets. Then we just all pitch in for a few really dope prizes that people can put their tickets in a raffle for. For example, I can have my coworker make a custom faygoluvers pipe.
