I’m honestly surprised their even selling a digital download of it. Not sure how they haven’t been sued by this unless they’ve made some kind of deal with the original artists for the beats, which I doubt.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen one by now. Doubt they’d make enough $$ off it for potential suing artists to even notice.
They could always sell a tshirt and include the album for “free” if they were worried.

I thought Joe and Joey Records closed a long time ago and doesn’t exist anymore.
They used original beats for that album. That’s why they had to give it away for free. No profit equals no crime.
As for THE RYDAS album from MNE, Chuck Reeves made a point that they could be Young Wicked recreations; hence they could have been edited so that the digital wave form makes them unique enough to “pass” under the radar of say Spotify or I-Tunes or whatever digital outlet is selling MNE stuff. And hence they can sell it for profit. Some legal or recording loophole was clearly figured out.
If any Rydas vinyl was ever made, it would have to be very cheap so ICP couldn’t be accused of making a profit. And given how slowly vinyl is actually selling for them, it would not be worth it. But it would be AWESOME to have Dumpin on my turntable. I still have my Dumpin cd. I would take Ryden Dirtay on vinyl as well and I’d be good for Rydas. Admittedly, those are the only two I have ever heard from front to back in full.

MNE Rydas album isn’t on Spotify right now, actually all the original Psychopathic Rydas albums are on Spotify except Rydin Dirtay.
I have my doubts we will see Rydas on vinyl because of the simple reason….. J just doesn’t want to revisit anything that Twiztid was highly involved in. I think the same for Lotus.

I would LOVE to have a vinyl copy of CYSIB on Vinyl.
Unrelated, but a new pressing of Shangri-La would be nice, too. Since the OG one sells for hundreds of dollars these days. And the Riddlebox. Just press them on black Vinyl and we are good.
Vinyllover we disagree on a lot of things but I’d love for you to post up some more reviews of the vinyl being put out by both camps. You seem to know your shit.

Mannnn. Someone blueballed everyone with a Photoshop of Wraith and Riddlebox being on vinyl on Psychopathic Vault, for the Black Friday Sale with a post on Psychopathic Museum. Claimed they were hidden items.
They really need to re release both of them. I’m not paying 200 bucks for the old pressings.

As for not revisiting Dark Lotus because it had Twiztid, another good point. It’s important to recall the timeline. ICP already planned to do it late October/November 2016, before the shit hit the fan with Twiztid.

ICP has to get the rights from JIVE records to re-release Riddlebox vinyl with the hatchet man on it. Just like they went back to Island to get Great Milenko and Jeckel Brothers on vinyl.
I was hoping for Bizaar Bizzar on vinyl this year. 20th anniversary pressing. Never happened. Maybe in 2025?
