FEARLESS FRED FURY IS TWO ENTITES

1. First half of his face with the 665 fist is FEARLESS FRED. He’s FEARLESS or courageous or something….he fights back with dignity, honor, and some other Joe Bruce ninja shit.

2. Second half of his face with the crowbar is FRED FURY. He’s FURIOUS…he’s so SERIOUS….all the hate blinds him. His anger is justified but yet uncontrolled and misguided … Hurting innocent bystanders, etc etc, insert Joe Bruce stuff here..

 I don’t think he will have much of any connection to the furies. 

The furies were responsible for tormenting people with guilt and madness for committing a murder within the family. 

I wrote an essay on this painting. The guy in the middle is orestes. He killed his mother and the furies are taunting him with memories of his dead mother (the woman in red).

I don’t think icp are that interested in recycled mythologies. They make up their own.

Interestingly, tho, the essay I wrote about the furies compared them to the great milenko and how he would punish people by tormenting them with visions of consequences to their actions to the point of madness, only to murder them later.

I also don’t think he will possess or infect anybody. Death pop does that and there’s no reason to revisit it so soon.

I was thinking something like this earlier. 

Fearless fred furys image is split perfectly so that if you cover the right half all you can see is the fist with that matching face then the other side has the crowbar and the crazy eye coming out of the buildings with the fumes.

Definitely looking forward to it. It just kinda sucks that somehow the album is going to be about heaven and hell again. I get that it’s the whole idea behind the Joker’s Cards, but I’m getting kinda sick of the concept.  

What makes you think that it’ll be about heaven and hell again? Am I missing something or are you speculating?

I really hope that it isn’t about heaven/hell or a split card or anything. I’m stoked that this fucker clearly has an attitude and carries a crowbar around. It’s a Jokers Card so it’s going to have some spiritual aspects but I really want one that’s just about ICP being the enforcers or messengers of wicked shit again. They’re teetering on the line of the wicked clowns again and it’s been too long since they’ve had a full card using those characters. Missing Link they were more or less preachers preaching the word of the Carnival and I’m over that shit. I was over it before it even started on The Wraith and I’m definitely over it now. 

Red Fred, knowing only the name and face, seems like it might be their return to wicked shit. Unless, of course, you know something I don’t know. 

I’m hoping it’s JUST one album. Doing a Part one part two album would probably cause the content to be less then par. The Missing Link is proof of that. Plus as I said before the Missing Link had rushed production.

If ICP would just do one album 17 tracks with a focus on brutal content with a message we can learn from I’d be proud.

Side note I firmly recall in a interview Im trying to find the link to, I recall J saying there music may shift towards focusing on the the real terrors in everyday life. 

If you look at red Fred he almost appears to be a form of pollution. Makes me wonder if there may be an environmental message of how we are destroying are planet slowly and Red Fred is the fury that’s being unleashed upon us for are ways. Could the fist represent a hurricane? Climate Change? Maybe I’m digging into this to much but that’s the fun part of ICPs joker cards being unveiled.
