This album seems to get better every time I listen to it! Had me bouncin off the inside of my jeep on the ride home from work today. Starting to really tune into the lyrics more. Ouija Macc fuckin kills this shit!

I just got my pre-order today... but only the CD. It came with a note explaining that they sent out just the CDs and are going to do preorder merch in a separate shipment. I would wager that this is not the worst Psychopathic pre-order situation, considering Merch Now was good about getting digital download links sent out.

 

 

Now, I'm debating if I just wanna keep this CD sealed in plastic or if I wanna open it up to at least look at the artwork that comes with it.  

all i wanted was the cd, thought beforehand the only way to get it on release date was a pre-order bundle. had i known i could wait and just get the album for 9.99 i wouldve lol. oh well

Same, but now that I think about it I wish I would've gotten the shirt. Shipping would have brought it up to $50 though, and it was the same week I bought my ABK ticket so I went with the poster. I kinda like collector stuff personally, but hell, the music itself is more important to me than the CD (but at the same time, I don't really like buying digital only copies of stuff... especially at the same price as a hard copy usually).

You know what, you're right. There's so many copies of this out there now, that keeping it sealed is kinda stupid. Besides, the packaging is usually pretty dope on Psy releases... in a lot of cases even part of the experience. I'll open it up and throw some pictures up later.

I tried to make an imgur album... i have no fucking clue how imgur works so I don't know if this link will be useful to anybody:

Gutterwater

Overall, the packaging is a little disappointing. Rather than a proper CD booklet, we get a small fold-out poster of Ouija wearing normal sunglasses and lighting a smoke. It also shows the credits for each song (but no lyrics or anything), I notice Violent J has Executive Producer credits on every song, most songs were produced by Devereaux (which was already fairly common knowledge, since all of those songs have the same ghostly sounding chick announcing it... sidenote: that gets kinda annoying and is one of my few gripes with the album. No other producer in Psy history feels compelled to basically watermark every song they work on, that bullshit was all over Trashfire/ ErifhsarT too).

I wish I could say it came with a little flyer announcing Red Fred, but no such luck.

I also notice that the track list is just slightly different from the original leak now. The one big difference I can think of is a lack of that Narduar Glock song that was originally listed (maybe that an executive decision was made to cut that? Dude seems pretty chill with just about every rapper ever).

Here's the text of the note (on a strip of white paper, roughly 2 by 7 inches large) they sent regarding the preorder merch, too:

"Thank you for your purchase of Ouija Macc's Gutter Water! In order to prevent further delay on your order, we'll be shipping out your package without the Japanese Poster. Once they arrive to us within the next few weeks, we'll have those shipped out separately to you. We apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused!!"

No date mentioned for the merch. I'm hoping they throw in something fresh for all of us, for waiting so patiently, but I know not to expect that because as a business... they have no obligation to do that, and have at least been decent on communication for this shaky release. If they upped every single one of our orders with bonus flavor over the delay, it'd likely cost them more money than it would be worth.

That song that is missing, and the other two will be on the "Water Damage" mix tape. Ouija confirmed this on Twitter last week when asked about them homie.
