I did not go to the show even thoe it was close it was kind of like the gathering it was 3 days long and you camped there, you could not buy a day pass so a ticket was like $300 and ICP went on at noon the first day so I skipped it and seen them in Toronto a few months later

How ironic with this post because the saying "Smoke Box" was firstly ever used as a title for one of the tracks recorded by Lansing's own 90's Simken Heights in the early 90's. I know these katz have been out of the Horror Rap limelight for a while but the original DJ from Simken Heights is working on a book and will be releasing a whole treasure trove of 90's Simken recordings from fall'n' rapper J Rome and his brother MASS who left the group too soon in 1998. Much appreciate any Simken Heights mixtape tracks ya'll katz can create in dedication to tha Simken Heights Crew who should have been a household name in Compton had tha Simken sound reached Cali. J Rome funded the Smoke Box project and I can only imagine how famous they would have gott'n' had J Rome not been shot and killed because the creativity among Dj Freshkuttz, J Rome and especially MASS would have gone way beyond the theme of horror rap in which the Simken Dedication Mixtape will greatly reveal!!!
