PS: For the record, tour was managed by outside of Psy. TicketWeb have been super on it for anyone who’d already got tickets. Before bashing for downsizing, folk may want to check the more obvious thing. What do the new venues have in common in difference from the originals..? They’re not O2. So if there’s a company you wanna go after on this, I think it’s a bit clear who may be the cause for the last minute change of heart. Not to mention, it looks as though there’s Faygo or some equivalent on the tour. Easy to say “get that shit together” etc, but keep in mind what I’d posted re: Faygo and the UK literally months ago.

Also, 2xWhoop’s for all. Kuddlez is hurr.

Does anyone know what the running order looks like? I dont care about death blooms or mushroomhead, so I dont mind to see em. But I guess the wont open up…? Who I really care for, besides ICP, is Hoodoo, dont wanna miss him.

Tonight I was a little late, when I arrived it was (since then): Hoodoo, Death Blooms, Lyte, Mushroomhead, Ouija (2songs), ICP.

Now I’m in my hostel drinking another beer and easing down the experience. It was great! The most surprising act was, to me, Mushroomhead, to be honest. I wasnt expecting anything and thought it was just some nonsense, but they were just awesome.

In general, I was really impressed by everyone. I dug Lyte’s EP, I even bought it, but I didnt expect him to kill it like that live. Same as Hoodoo, unfortunately I missed most of his set, but what I saw (last 2 songs) he KILLED it, as well. Death Blooms were fine, but just not my cup of tea (but whoever likes this kind of music will most likely dig it). I am definitely looking forward to see the whole Hoodoo set tomorrow! I feel like he’s not getting enough respect for what he does.

And ICP was great as always.

As what? Yeah, it was the first time I saw ICP live, and that is very special. I had so high expectations that now, I dunno. Have to think abot it. See em again tomorrow. I really cant say yet.

What was DEFINITELY great was getting in touch with all the others who did attend. At first I wondered how it was gonna be, but with everyone I spoke it was a real pleasure. Like, easy. Everyone having a blast that ICP was there. Wouldnt need much explanation. That was cool.
I’m a little bit disappointed I’m not out there drinking right now with anyone (?), but in fact I have to work a lot tomorrow, so I guess thats good for now. Looking forward to tomorrow!!

I just wanted to chime in with what an absolute treat it’s been hearing the experiences of the across-the-pond family getting their Insane Clown cherry popped. The enthusiasm y’all have gets me hyped by extension. I’m so fucking  geeked that you guys are geeked that it makes me geek vicariously.

Reading these good times makes this shit feel new again, and its a shot in the arm for a jaded ninja. Keep having fun y’all.

We travelled all the way from Denmark for the Birmingham show. So amazing! Everybody was so fresh! The meet and greet was crazy dope and we chilled with KG and Jumpsteady for a long time. Rob even went out to the bus and gave me some fresh Echoside cards. Best night ever!

Dude, the trip home to the hotel was wet and weird as fuck! The hotel was cheap as hell and I got back home to Denmark with a million bedbug bites. The show was so amazing that I totally forgot to come backstage for the Faygo Armageddon. But everybody in the crowd were so nice and yeah.. I’m kinda lost for words… just amazing!

Yeah it was so crazy to met them. I don’t understand why so many people think that they, or actually mostly J, are dicks? They were super friendly and down to earth. Really awesome.

To make a long story already short: It was. the fucking. BOMB.

Damn, I dont know how to start. As I’ve written previously friday night was the bomb concertwise, but afterwards I hesitated to look for an afterparty because I knew I had plenty of work the next day to be finished. At my hostel I drank a beer and recapped the evening. When I arrived at the venue that night, half of Hoodoo’s set was over, which bummed me out, cause originally I was so happy he’d come with em. But what I saw was awesome! The other artists were great as well, especially Mushroomhead and ICP.

I couldnt sum up what I had to say about ICP’s live performance in my last entry, because it somehow overwhelmed me. To be in the UK, technically (but not spiritually) alone at first, hang around at the concert, get in touch with the others, have great conversations (let alone the fact that within my beloved friends there’s noone who’s got my passion for this music in common), issue beers and get beers issued and watch a bombass show. Just awesome!
To say it like it is: It was off the hook! ICP live exceeded my expectations, I didnt expect this music to work out live like it did. Now I’m even more jealous you US-guys got plenty of opportunities to watch those shows! In between I thought like backstabber assumed they’re maybe cutting back the soda spraying, maybe to not get thrown out for the next night. But nonetheless I was so fucking soppy wet, my clothes wouldnt dry for the next 3 days (luckily my hostel was right next to the venue, 3 minutes footwalk) AND I didnt expect me to enjoy it like this! lol It was so fun to watch them staff members trying to clean the venue afterwards, at some places the puddles of soda were at least one inch deep – especially the second night, because a normal clubnight took place there after the concerts!
Oh, and speaking of the venue – I dont know what the others think, but personally I appreciated the fuck outta the venue change. The venue was called “The Asylum” as you perhaps know, and it was themed like this. All girls were disguised as smoking hot psychiatric nurses who reminded me strongly of Harley Quinn. It fit perfectly for an ICP show. Plus as I said the venue was suddenly right next to my hostel.
By the way, on friday night I assume there were roundabout 150-250 attendees, so the venue was a little less than half full. That didnt bother me at all, everything felt more intense and more special, since the artists gave everything nonetheless. And it was easier to get in touch with the others as I had been able to compare the next night.
Ah, and I didnt expect the whoop whoop phrase to be such a catch phrase easy to go with. lol.

Pure awesomeness! And the next night was going to be even better! We were gonna afterparty with the whole crew!

The next day started off low. I was hungover, even though I didnt drink THAT much. I tried desperately to get my work done, but it wasnt going so well. At first, the silent lounge area where I sat down was (after a short while) so cold I started to shake, then the reception area where I could hang around as well was noisy and I couldnt resist to talk to some others every now and then, which was cool, but also a disturbance to my concentration. yadda yadda yadda, I even had to put Cabracan off, we wanted to meet up, because I wanted to get the most necessary things done. This resulted in that we somehow missed each other at all, that sucked.
Plus, the show on saturday started at 5pm. The ticket stated that, but I didnt really realize it. The night before it stated the show’s gonna start at 6pm and it really started not until 7.30pm. But on saturday it started off on time. That sucked hugely, because I wasnt there until 6.45pm and half the show was nearly over! Damn I missed the whole Hoodoo set! Why the fuck did HE have to open the fucking show up! I was really mad at me that I didnt manage to plan my day properly. But, well. I was looking for Cabracan, but didnt see him anywhere. This night, the venue was packed, it was sold out, more than 600 people attended. Oh well, I thought, we’re gonna see each other after the show, and grabbed me a beer. It was strange Mushroomhead already played, it was early in the evening. But however, I drank another beer and got into the crowd in front of the stage. ICP played, and it was as awesome as the night before. The only complaint that I have is that it was the exact show like the night before. I would have expected them to change the setlist a bit or do a different announcement here or there, you know, but except for the difference at the end (it werent the cherry pie girls to do massive soda spraying on the last song, it was the Faygo Armageddon with the VIPs), there was no difference at all. But well, it’s just a slight complaint, and originally they didnt plan to do two shows in one city, so. I dont mind.

Then the show was over (at 10pm! only now I realized that the clubnight of the venue was going to take place that night and thats why the show started off so fucking early) and the security guards made sure we would leave the venue quickly. So we did. Outside I was looking for Cabracan again, but didnt find him. Damn! I hung around and wasnt sure what to do, talked to some los and lettes who were thinking about to get into the venue again for afterpartying at the clubnight of the venue (again, it was a cool place and fun to see if the crew eventually succeeded to clean the rooms). But everybody had to wait outside, nobody talked about to go to a different spot, so I decided to take a shower quickly and return with dry clothes on.
When I came back half an hour later, nobody was outside except for Lyte, Ouija and some of Mushroomhead’s crew. They saw my psy related shirt and asked me what I thought about the show, I told em I had a blast. We kicked it for a few minutes (they were really nice, all of them) and I asked if there’s a juggalo afterparty in this venue or somewhere else. They quickly told me not to get in there again, I should go to the subside bar, cause everybody was going to be there, and gave me the address. So I went there, hell yeah!

And what can I say, it was the bomb. I came in and saw plenty of los and lettes, roundabout 20 or 30, I guess. It was a rock music pub with a small dancefloor and some billiard tables and a smoking area outside. I kicked it with them, talked here and there, got to know some US juggalos who followed ICP across the sea and made some new friends. By the time I got really drunk, until, around 3am, the actual crew arrived: KG, Jumpsteady, without the paint J, Shaggy and Hoodoo, and Ouija! Boom! To be honest, I was in a state of shock. But everything was really cool. In the end I could speak to J without bothering him too much, say him that I’m so grateful for all what their music brought into my life, I talked a while with Hoodoo, promising him I’d spread his shit as far as I can here in Germany, smoking outside happens to result in standing around with a few others and Shaggy, who told some stories. Thinking back right now, it is SURREAL.
Unfortunately meanwhile I was drunk, not totally wasted, but drunk, so that I had slight problems to speak english properly (sorry to anyone who was there and perhaps had problems with understanding me! lol). Plus being kind of nervous around them, I didnt know what to talk about in some situations, and I didnt want to hounddog them at all, so I chickened out a few times and kicked it with the other juggalos, lol. But man I must say, all of them, the whole psy roster, were so down to earth, friendly and relaxed to talk with, it was crazy. It was just crazy. Pure awesomeness.
At sometime Shaggy almost got into a fight with some dude at the bar with a sleazy grin, he tried to headbutt the fuck outta him, but Ouija quickly pushed him back, outside and into a cab. I dont know what this was about, but this other dude had a real evil smile. I dunno. So crazy.
Eventually I said goodbye to the other juggalos, changed some numbers, and headed back to my hostel. I fell into my bed arund 6.30am and was done.

So. Great.
The next day was horrible though, I was super hungover, had to manage to come back to Germany and was panicking, because, when I arrived at home (around 10pm), I had to be up all night to get my fucking work done, which had to be finished monday morning. I somehow did that, but that was no pleasure.

Now I am sick and broke, but it was sooooo fucking worth it!
So fucking worth it.
