So do you remember the track that was auctioned off at the Psychopathic Auction this year? It’s called “Burning Abandoned House”, and it was from the Lost/Found sessions. A Juggalo named Todd bought it for roughly $2K.

So Todd was at Hallowicked/Fright Fest this year and dropped by the spot that I was staying. He had the track on his phone, and an actual hard copy of the album. We listened to it a few times, and though I know there’s a lot of Young Wicked hate on here, the track is one of J’s better storytelling tracks. It is from the perspective of the fire that’s burning down the old house.

Todd said that the track WILL see the light of day. He won’t be giving it away for free, but rather starting a kickstarter (or something similar) to get the track put onto a die-cut vinyl. At least that’s what he told me. I think that’s a fair enough idea and am looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of it when it drops. Just a little inside info!

It was actually sold with the rights to do whatever you want to with it. Bukshot was bidding too trying to get it for his next album.

Ah. Honestly I didn’t even realize it was you that posted this, if I had I wouldn’t have even questioned it.

Still, very cool, hopefully it happens. Getting some vinyl pressed isn’t too insanely expensive.

Damn that’s crazy that it came with the rights to the song! It seems worth it now, having the rights to an ICP song that nobody has and you can do what ever you want with it!!! Kinda blew my wig back just thinking about that right now. That would be super fresh for a rapper to get that song and put it on an album like Bukshot tried to do, what a selling point! haha

lol, I like this idea. I didn’t know the purchaser had full rights to the song. I would completely turn over my rights to Twiztid at no charge then call smack and tell him about it.

Its pretty cool that Psychopathic gave the rights and the license for it to whomever bought this. That is pretty cool. If it sees the light of day – cool and if not – no worries at all. To have something like that from Psychopathic and you can do whatever you want with it, I can imagine if some good dj’s etc got their hands on it, just think of all the mashups they could do to it. If the person does want to make some money of it, cool, but make sure you do it the right way to maximize your profits
