Does anybody know or have any guesses what they will release next on vinyl? Think they will stick to their early releases maybe Terror Wheel, Forgotten Freshness Vol.1 OG version or maybe Mutilation Mix?

I really hope everything comes out eventually. Anyone know what sort of problems might arise from things like Milenko, Jeckel Brothers and Bizzar/Bizaar coming out on Waxworks given they were released by other labels?

I'd love to see an EP like Eye of the Storm out on vinyl. Particularly that one, it's one of my favorite releases from the Clowns.

I know they said before (hatchet herald in december i think?) That they wanted to do a dual LP, one record being J's favorite songs and the second being Shaggy's

I'm confused. Wikipedia says this 2 cd set of volume 1 and 2 was put out by Island.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgotten_Freshness_Volumes_1_%26_2

220px-Icp-forgotten-freshness-vols12.jpg

Released August 18, 1998
Recorded 1993 - 1998
Genre Horrorcore, Midwest hip hop
Length 102:52
Label Psychopathic/Island/PolyGram Records
524 552

So what did Island NOT put out and what did Psychopathic put out with regards to 1 and/or 2 Forgotten Freshness? Did Psychopathic originally release just the first one on their own label? Even if that only did that, the fact that Island put out 1 and 2 together makes me think Island acquired the master for at least volume 1 from psychopathic. Which makes me think only they could put out any of the first two forgotten freshness.

original ff, no volume, was put out by psy, and had a bunch of the same shit from the later vols 1 n 2.  plus a few other cuts.  ghetto zone, ask u summin, whatever else.  aint even sure what year it was.  95, i believe.

particularly uncommon coaster.

island set with the volumes was 98.  with twice as much stuff.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

Awesome. Thanks for the information.

I would love to have the original FF on vinyl.  Island putting out 1 and 2 makes me think they had to acquire the original FF 1 master in order to put out 1 and 2 on Island. So perhaps no FF on vinyl would ever happen. :(

Yeah it was seem that FF Vol. 1 & 2 is a PSY release. I always assumed it was Island but it says Psychopathic Records on it.

As for the topic, I anticipate Terror Wheel to be next in the Waxworks series. They seem to be focusing on the old shit, I definitely anticipate a Carnival Carnage Vinyl to come out after the COC show. God I wanna go :(

OG COCs come up for sale here and there. They are not the full album, just 8 tracks edited for radio. Pretty rare. One on Discogs right now for $400. I got mine for $150. An explicit, full tracked version of COC would be very nice. I think Terror Wheel is a good guess.

I PM'd ScottieD telling him that guys like us on here appreciate the whole waxworks endeavor; and that we look forward to his and Rosco's vinyl update articles when they are posted on faygoluvers. I said that we who are hip to vinyl technology understand its problems, the ways to fix them, mastering, digital versus analog, etc. And finally that we are all excited for whatever the next release is. I said we are speculating on terror wheel and Ringmaster. I also gave links to Guest's insightful posts about vinyl such as his ones about Riddlebox. I.E. Cutting 12" records at 45rpm; and of course inner groove distortion.

As long as Ringmaster and Terror Wheel are the next two ones, I would not care which comes first. Terror Wheel is the EP that follows the Ringmaster LP anyway.

They are going to market to what sells, realistically. Gimmicks drive vinyl sales, not audiophiles. Expect picture discs and colored vinyl and hope for the best.

I am trying to get colored wax "Tunnel of Love"

https://www.faygoluvers.net/v5/.....tgear-com/

as opposed to the picture disc.

https://www.faygoluvers.net/v5/.....ooks-like/

I bit the bullet and got the Beverly Kills picture disc. It sounds alright for the stripped down, early 90's hip hop sound of ICP. But of course I would prefer black vinyl. Black virgin vinyl above all else!

Ringmaster would be sweet! I actually scooped up a Wraith vinyl last week to review on my channel around gathering time, it has a very unique sound to the audio. Not really sure if that's the "true" sound of vinyl or an error in the pressing, I'm still new to vinyl, but I kind of liked it.
