They did a good job with the Dark Lotus vinyl. I sure hope with Great Milenko, they don't fuck it up with the mastering if the source is digital and not analog.

Found someone to get me the XXX cover version of Tunnel of Love with PINK VINYL as opposed to the picture disc with the regular cover. The pink vinyl looks awesome and sounds pretty damn good. Most assuredly better than a picture disc. Vinyl just works that way.

I am still anxious for Shaggy's new solo album due out on vinyl this month supposedly, and Carnival of Carnage next month in November.

Two decades after it was pulled from stores by Disney-owned Hollywood Records, pop culture icons Insane Clown Posse's notorious "The Great Milenko" is back...and still casting its horrorcore spell over millions of fans worldwide. Featuring underground hits such as "Halls of Illusions" (featuring Slash on guitar) and "Hokus Pokus" with Steve Jones of Sex Pistols' fame, "The Great Milenko" makes its vinyl appearance on the occasion of its 20th birthday. Still shocking, uncompromising, and unforgettable, "The Great Milenko" brings the magic of the Dark Carnival to Record Store Day's Black Friday!

A Side A1 - Intro A2 - Great Milenko A3 - Hokus Pokus A4 - Piggy Pie B Side B1 - How Many Times? B2 - Southwest Voodoo B3 - Hall Of Illusions B4 - Under The Moon C Side C1 - What Is A Juggalo? C2 - House Of Horrors C3 - Boogie Woogie Wu C4 - The Neden Game D Side D1 - Hellalujah D2 - Down With The Clown D3 - Just Like That D4 - Pass Me By

ICP Releasing “The Great Milenko: 20th Anniversary Edition” on 2xLP Vinyl for Record Store Day’s Black Friday Celebration

As we’ve stated, November 24th is not Record Store Day but Black Friday. The organizers of Record Store Day will be celebrating this year by bringing the spotlight to independently owned stores, like record stores, by releasing some Record Store Day exclusive releases.

The Insane Clown Posse will be participating by releasing “The Great Milenko: 20th Anniversary Edition” on double LP vinyl that day! This is the first time ever we’ll get to hear the entire Great Milenko album on wax.

We're getting closer to the release date of Shaggy's newest solo album on vinyl (October 20) and Carnival of Carnage (November 3). Already mentioned here.

MORE INFO

Horrorcore hip-hop veterans Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse have never been one to avoid controversy for the sake of their craft. The release of their 1997 album The Great Milenko proved that, when the album's label, Disney-owned Hollywood Records, removed the album from shelves mere hours after its release to appease complaints by the Southern Baptist Church. This controversy only served to propel the Detroit duo's profile higher, as numerous labels lined up to court them. By 1998 Insane Clown Posse had settled into Island Records, and The Great Milenko had sold over one million copies, setting the stage for their next record. The Amazing Jeckel Brothers was released in 1999, was the fifth entry into their "Joker's Cards" anthology of albums, and featured 17 tracks touching on themes of anger, morality, and sin, heavily inspired by the negative press the group has received from the Hollywood Records debacle. Like Milenko, the album featured production from their frequent collaborator DJ Mike E. Clark, but Jeckel Brothers set itself apart with its sound, heavily indebted to classic 90s rap, as opposed to Milenko's hard rock-influence, featuring key contributions from legends of hip-hop like Ol' Dirty Bastard and Snoop Dogg, from fellow horrorcore icons Twiztid, ska-revival band Gangsta Fun, and even prank call comedians The Jerky Boys. Despite receiving a thrashing from critics, Insane Clown Posse defied the press it received, when The Amazing Jeckel Brothers debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 charts, and ultimately reached platinum status in 2008. In celebration of this landmark album, Insane Clown Posse's own Psychopathic Records now presents this special reissue of The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. Not just on vinyl for the very first time, but pressed on transparent red wax, and housed in two variant covers featuring each of the two iconic Jeckel Brothers from the original artwork.

1. Intro  2. Jake Jeckel 3. Bring It On 4. I Want My Shit 5. Bitches (featuring Ol' Dirty Bastard and The Jerky Boys) 6. Terrible 7. I Stab People 8. Another Love Song 9. Everybody Rize 10. Play with Me 11. Jack Jeckel 12. Fuck the World 13. The Shaggy Show" (featuring Snoop Dogg)  14. Mad Professor 15. Assassins" (featuring The Jerky Boys)  16. Echo Side" (featuring Twiztid)  17. Nothing's Left

Turns out JB won't be out until Black Friday November this year. Oh well. In other vinyl news, ScottieD posted a summary of the seminar from this year's Gathering Of The Juggalos.

Awesome news. I will skip bang bow boom. Not one of my favourites. Hell's pit, I might. But Ringmaster and Terror Wheel. That is what some of us have been begging and hoping for. I just hope they press it correctly. Spread it out over 2 vinyl discs. I'm sure they will. The full album is just over 70 minutes.

Surely it must be a typo and both Forgotten Freshness 1&2 are coming to vinyl? Only releasing part 2 would be really weird (especially since it never came out by itself without including part 1).

OK this is making me nervous. Here's the ad:

From what I can see, none of those have been released on vinyl yet? Despite most of their release dates having passed already. Does this mean they gave up on the idea? I want FF 1+2 on Vinyl to happen so much!

The Shining is coming for sure.  It was announced on faygoluvers recently. Before that, FFF vinyl was announced. Other than that, there have been no reports about the others.
