it is funny when people do say they want albums to sound like riddlebox and milenko when none of the joker cards sound the same..
.ICP made the biggest change when they went from Milenko to Amazing jeckyl bros...their voices changed alot!!!! J from "piggy pie" sounds more nasaly, high pitched and then he has that loud rasp, lots of screaming too on AJB...it almost sounded like a different group! lol
the title track from Tempest was pretty creative, not their best work ever lol...but that track was cool, i liked "wicked hellaween" but mike clark and icp aint meshing that well 2gether anymore...
twiztid hit a stalemate working with Fritz and went thru lots of producers, even monoxide did the beats for H&H... which is a breakup album...get over it!
once a bitch breaks ur heart that album will speak to u, its not a wicked shit / murder album, its a guys point of view on love when radio is all about the sex, the party, the fly bitch, twiztid was honest, something was goin on in their life cuz they didnt even perform a whole set at the Gathering cuz of issues...
ICP needs to do wat twiztid did to give their music a new life, ICP needs to try to work with more producers until they find that spark that gets them going again, unless the juices are all dried up

it just dont make any since
really?? its pretty clear that people felt only mike could bring out the best in icp.. but after hearing his work with them the past 5 yrs i guess people aint feelin his production anymore... no one couldve really predicted theyd go in the new direction they did... im sure everyone figured he'd bring back his flavor from the 90s...

and i didnt have a problem when icp had mike p or who ever else either so thats just me

when mike clark first left it was unspeakable at the time cuz of the catalog being so strong with his involvement. mike p had a lot of pressure to overcome and he delivered with "one less g" and "shangri la"..he even made abk have a decent album with "hatchet warrior" and thats a hard thing to do....J seemed energized with mike p being a new producer. mike clark came back and he just monopolizes entire albums with only his beats and since his return the magic isnt there and we all expected wat we got from him in the past. he was gone for so long his beats changed during that time. dark lotus came out way better with mike p and fritz finishing the record. things were fine with mike p and it was a new era and the music was still good. now its just corny and too happy for most juggalos.

so u guys are fucking hyped for juggalo island? in your face? all of sudden ICP took 10 steps backward when Mike Clark came back, i really dont get it...in the shangri La era it was nothing, NOTHING like milenko, jeckyl bros, riddlebox any of that old shit. It was a new style but FLOWS were good. He had a way different delivery.
not its sad, they do these basic ass abc rhyme style. wheres the NEW J that was on "sticky situations" god damn he was flowin! its not lyrical like fuckin immortal technique hip hop, but he had rhythm and had those off the wall rhymes that we listen to ICP for.
twiztid hit the nail on the head workin hard on abominationz....its like the new modern style of hip hop is that tech n9ne style. they evolved and smashed anybody who wanted to critique their new album after everyone bashed H&H
so when u listen to that shit and then go to ICPs new shit, they sound way too HAPPY for most juggalos taste and its basic and stale ass raps. i hate to say that cuz i was diggin new their 2000s style while most were stuck in the milenko era and hated it. now u all wish it was still that cuz know we get pies in your ass or watever that doody is,
usually eshams disses just fall flat, but mighty death poop was pretty accurate

Fucking exactly everything was fine with Mike p, but just like everything icp got greedy and he left.
I think this needs to be fully in the open, icp are too goddamn greedy, why has EVERY SINGLE artist left?
Them holding out on Money, mec, esham, mike p, boondox, abk and now twiztid.
I think it's obvious, they're shady businessman, alot ppl don't even show up to gatherings cuz the money ain't right.

I've pondered this myself.. as much as I want them to be these funny cool dudes who care somewhat about their fans.. I really wouldn't doubt it if they were just shady business men. Sometimes though when I think about it long enough, Violent J is just too goddamn silly to be some sinister sneaky rich dude rubbing his hands together in golden jelly and diamonds sneering "YESsssSSsss YesSssssS... dis iz how we shall take that cash muneyyy".
Hopefully that speculation of greed and shady business tactics are more behind the scenes.. like the CEO or some kind of business party running things on the DL.
Idk.. between the rumors.. Boondox twitter posts.. Twiztid leaving.. the cheap videos and marketing schemes lately.. who knows for sure?
At the end of the day, all i care about is fun, creative, entertaining music I can bump and daydream about to make my silly little monkey tool life better.
