hes dope and has a bright future in tha underground. he dropped an ep 2 years ago on psy. he will hopefully drop a full length album in 2019. i seriously doubt it will come out on psychopathic records. did anybody really think tampon juice was gonna drop on psy. what about all those icp greatest hit albums they advertised in the fred book? i hope that scrap that shit anyway. a bunch of compilations featuring only songs we already own. remember at the icp seminar last year when j said psychopathics from outer space 4 would be out by the end of the year? who thought for a second that shit was gonna happen?

He's in a bad spot where he's talented but hasn't gotten a chance to prove it yet.
Mad Real is fuckin great, he's definitely capable of doing great shit, though at the moment it's easy for people to dismiss him.
I don't know the current state of where he is, I fuckin lost track.
But yeah, I think he needs some sort of breakthrough that'll make people respect him.
Kinda like Ouija with Gutterwater, I know not everyone will agree with that, but at least among the people I've been talking to, Gutterwater earned everyone's respect, which I agree with.

I guess I must be in the minority then. I tried listening to that album and couldn't even get through it. His "music" just ain't for me

i agree. he hasn't had the chance to fully prove himself yet. psychopathic monstar was a decent solid e.p. but i was waiting on the l.p. to really hear what he could do. i wanted to hear him flex a little more variety and i think he probably could. maybe even some storytelling songs. who knows. i honestly expected it to be out by now. when twiztid put out the black season e.p. from lex the full length album contact was out later that same year. thats why people on here claim hes still on psy and everything is all good i have trouble believing that. its funny tho psychopathic repped lyte hard as fuck in 2017. he was on everything. maybe they did what they gone do and the rest is up to him. hes way bigger then he was before psy so he still owes them a lot.

It's all good, it's not the most approachable genre, putting music in quotations makes you sound like a 40 year old white woman hearing metal and or rap for the first time, but maybe i'm just reading too far into it.
I'm not sure the general consensus but that's just what everyone I've talked to has said. Even a few of them that don't like Trap music seemed to be down, that was cool.

LYTE BLEW IT.
SEMI-FAME GOT TO HIS HEAD.
THINKS HE DESERVES MORE OF WHATEVER
WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BUFFING ICP'S PICKLES NIGHTLY FOR THE OPP THEY GAVE HIM!!
THREW A HISSY FIT OVER THE UGA "TRAP"
THAT WHOLE INVITE WAS DONE TO TRICK LYTE INTO LOOSING HIS DEAL WITH PSY
WHICH HE DID!!
UGA AND TECH CAN FTFTO
ITS ALL ABOUT ICP IN THIS BITCH
RIDE WITH THE CLOWN
OR GET OUTTA TOWN.
LYTE WAS MEDIOCRE WHEN THEY SIGENED HIM
AND HIS RECORD WAS LUKE WARM AT BEST.
HE COULD HAVE BEEN A PSYCHOPATHIC CHAMPION IN TIME
IF HE HADNT BLOWN IT BY MAKING DEMANDS.
ALSO LYTE NEEDS TO BE IN A GROUP.
HES DOPE BUT AS A STAND ALONE ARTIST HES NOT VERSATILE ENOUGH
ALL HIS STUFF SOUNDS THE SAME.
RUMOR HAS IT THAT HE IS JOINING AN MNE SUPER GROUP:
LYTE + CHOIRBOY+ YOUNG WIGGLER

Imo he has the technical skill of a moderately decent rapper but he's got no substance. His tracks are boring and repetitive. No vision, no insight.
He could have done OK on psychopathic for a while but he wasn't ever gonna be the next gen the way Ouija is.
Its easy, if you gotta flow and work hard, to rise to the top in generic white boy Midwestern rap. The pool is small and being the big fish is cool. But he can't swim with the sharks in the ocean.
If he ever rapped about something, anything, he'd have done better.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

So all the assumptions I made about him from the small sample I've been given was completely true.
AKA: He was just another goofy white boy trying to be Tech N9ne.

Lyte was signed as a replacement for young wicked. It was spur of the moment and I believe it was regretted after his ep released and didn’t sell good and didn’t make waves. Then ouija signed and Violent j saw the cross over potential and basically pushed lyte away and focused on ouija. Lyte trying to do the UGA feature was just the nail in the coffin and it offended Violent j and once you offend him or hurt his feelings you are then dead to him. So violent j refused to work with lyte, so lyte had to start reaching out to other producers for music, had to build a studio to record in because violent j is petty and doesn’t want him using the lotus pod or his private home studio and lyte soon realized his contract with psy has been breached and technically he is a free agent again. He doesn’t want to announce his departure because some juggalos are retards and will no longer support him if he isn’t psychopathic. Remember when it was announced that abk, lyte, blahzay, ouija, Clay all signed new deals with psychopathic at the end of 2017/beginning of 2018? Well no one has released anything since(except ouija) so all those contracts are void and everyone was technically allowed to walk from the label. This is the current state of psychopathic. Ouija has 2 more albums to release contractually through them and that is it. No one else is under contract with psychopathic. Of course this is just an outside view and my opinion but it certainly seems legit
