Yeah, I forgot to say that before, but, I really hope Mike told him a while back he could say that or something. 

Coming out is a really personal thing, if you're not ready, or just don't want to, nobody should do it for you.

And also in the case of an entertainer of any kind, it's REALLY fucked to out someone because there's even more reasons why you might not want people to know. It can sometimes not be something you want attached to your name just so it doesn't distract from your work, as well as something you might not want known in the interest of potentially losing work over it. 

I got hit by that first one a bit ago when I wanted to write some short horror stories on r/nosleep but I didn't want it listed under my normal username because I didn't want it to be distracting, seeing as it's all written in 1st person and is supposed to be treated like it's true.

Obviously Mike isn't gonna have a problem getting work (I did google search Kid rock's opinion and it looks like they'll be fine), and it's not like anyone will be thinking about it, especially because he's just a producer, you don't have to deal with the public at large, but still, it's not your place to jeopardize that no matter how low of a chance it is.

People out lgbt people by accident a lot though, like, you'll say something just due to the topic of the conversation you're in, and then realize too late that you just outed them. (it's even more common to out yourself by accident, I've done it before.)

But yeah, I've got enough faith in J that'd I'd say he probably either had permission from some conversation a while ago before or just did it by accident, which, I wouldn't blame him I guess, he was trying to do the right thing with that conversation.

All in all, my question is...Who gives a shit? about any of this?  

Well I mean, it's like, rap history basically, and the interview as a whole was pretty interesting. So, I guess it makes sense to talk about.
