ICP is used to maintaining a certain lifestyle - and they haven't been able to tour this year at all.
I look at the building being sold as a way to make up for that million or so dollars they couldn't make in 2020 due to lost ticket sales/Gathering income.
During the peep show stream while they were in the PSY building they talked about it being set up to support a late 90's rap act and they didn't need all that space anymore.....yet in the same segment they all admitted they were really gonna miss the place.
On air recently Shaggy lamented the fact that even though their October PPV made over $50,000 they had at least 20 workers to pay before he would see his cut.
Shaggs has even tried to hit up Kegan for drive thru food receipts-not something you'd be doing if you were flush with cash imo. I could see keeping your own receipts, but bothering your homies for theirs'?
If ICP don't plan on signing anybody ever again I expect the downsizing continue, including the size of venues they play in the future.
@vinyllover this topic has been covered before, learn how to bump a thread -

I don't know about where ya'll are. But out in Portland they're basically already playing the smallest venues we've got outside of bars. and I don't see ICP doing the "bar show" BS this late in their career.

Actually they got the boot from Roseland after the faygo mess from the American psycho tour back in 2011. I believe that's where it was raining through to the downstairs in that documentary they did for that tour. Basically only left them with the hawthorne to play. They did do that one show at the bossanova ballroom but I highly doubt they will be let back there

huh, looks like my last post didn't quite stick for whatever reason.
But, that's basically my point. If ICP were to downsize....where would they even go? There's no way they're going to the star theatre, a lot of the sketchier places like Branx have closed down or converted away from traditional concert venues. There's really no way for them to "downsize" and still preform in Portland.

Unfortunately that may mean they just don't have Portland as a stop in general anymore.
I'm on the east coast (north east specifically). The two primary venues they play in CT and MA each have two separate sections. One being much smaller than the other for when lower name artists come to town (Rittz, Blaze, etc). That may be ICPs future and honestly even if it was, they're still gonna make a killing on merch.

I always assumed a typical tour was paid off 1/2 way through. I could very well be wrong.
Smaller venues = less faygo though = less up front cost?
Unless they signed like a secret mafia deal with Faygo years ago and they're committed to buying so much product?
Imagine if the final downfall of ICP is Faygo?

Nah. I don't think they'd never do that out of fear of it being exposed.
For us, ICP may as well be the single most successful brand ambassador for faygo. That's true. But you gotta remember Faygo soda is a family brand, they want to look as clean as possible. Thats why they'll never actually recognize what ICP has done for them, or actually endorse the clowns.
