Okay, so I haven’t listened to this one in years.

I’ll elaborate my views more in depth later (got a work meeting in a few), but my overall feelings upon re-listening to Amybody Killa’s first album on Psychopathic is….

Even better than when it came out! This one has gotten, somehow, better with age.

Every track is dope. The only one I can do without is “Hated Me”.

Thoughts?

How high are you? Because it’s a pretty boring album.

I’m guessing very, because you didn’t say that In The City was bad

Favorite tracks are Kill Me, Sticky Icky Situations, Come Out & Play, While You’re Sleeping and Hollow Point.

This version of Foo Dang is far superior, in mein pinion:

And I was 100% sober, I don’t get high before work. Just because I’ve been in the legal weed game for a decade doesn’t mean I just blaze 24/7. I have priorities, plans, goals, patterns, tactics, problems, bills, fresh air to get, etc. Damn, that’s some Krunk style dissing right there lol. Low-hanging fruit, as they say. Easy, lazy diss. Anyway, your opinion is still respected.

As far as In The City, it’s not the greatest cover of all time, but I enjoy the fact that it is used for the whole “The Warriors” concept theme. It ends the album like the track ended the film. Pretty cut and dry, but fitting. Perhaps they could’ve been a bit more subtle and just used some sampling instead of the basic rehash of the original’s chorus.

I liked this era of Mike P and Fritz. People hate on Mike P, but he made some killer shit.

there’s not one song I dislike, they’re all good to me.. my favorites are “while you’re sleeping” & “in the city”. is the cover better than the original? of course not but it’s still a great song. I’ve always liked “dirty history” a whole lot more though..

abk performed multiple songs off “hatchet warrior” on the mirror mirror tour in 2002.. that version of “kill me” sounds older than the rest of the songs, i wouldnt be surprised if it was recorded/written a year or 2 prior.. while he was just Blaze’s hype-man..
