"Life at Risk" contains some lyrics from the Ice Cube track "Who's the Mack?". The title track uses a looped sample from the George Clinton's song "Atomic Dog" as its bassline and refrain. "Ghetto Zone" uses a sample from Rod Stewart's Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?.

Ive heard some of the songs they sampled and i would have never guessed that they could be inspired by some of them. Like Hot Chocolate the disco group or even Bob Dylan crazy stuff shows how creative ICP and MEC are.

well technically every single icp song not made with live instruments is a sample. thats how hip hop/rap was created, take a drum from this and a bass line from that and flow on it. hip hop IS sampling instruments. u can look in the booklets cause island and the other big labels make them clear the samples and give credit in the booklets. if a sample is less than 3 or 4 seconds it does not need to be cleared or some shit, idk....

There was some Ghetto E song from his album,, and apparently he either he didn't want to or couldn't pay for a "Scarface" movie sample so he just tried to make it himself by saying it. I dunno if that's pathetic or genius.

it's so Dope that one of I.C.P.'s first songs samples "Atomic Dog", it's just such a classic funk song, and I.C.P. are O.G.'s for that shit man haha
I Enjoy the Zapp sample on "psychopathic" from Carnival of Carnage, I love those funk beats, and then they sampled John Carpentar's Halloween, that shit is fresh!
I'm pretty sure they sampled another funk song on "Taste" but I can't remember right now...
I have a Maschine MPC, and it's hella fun sampling old school funk songs and old r&b soul songs and making a hip hop beat out of that shit, twisting and warping and distorting the sounds into something new...
does anyone know what the shits from Halloween On Military is... that british dude talking at the beginning? haha, always wondered what movie that was from or whatever
also is the dude talking on "Ringmaster's Word" from a movie? sounds like it might be from some vampire movie...? anyone know?
