I’ve listened to album about 5 times and it’s kinda meh for me. Definitely the sound I like to hear from ICP, but I probably only dug 2-3 of their tracks. Still gonna keep spinning as any new ICP is good ICP in my book. Other than that I didn’t care for any of the other artists with the exception of DJ Paul.

To me, it’s the future of what ICP should be. Ruthless, raw, and wicked as fuck. That’s some grown adult wicked shit. It’s not all banging dead bodies and serial murder. That stuff is awesome too but the stuff on Phantom touches on things that a lot of people are really dealing with every day. It rules. I’m actually bummed it was an exclusive because I think it should be an official release.

Word, ICP delivered on these tracks. Dark and fucking hilarious. Digging these joints. Phantom and Complicated are fresh as hell and the other two ain’t half bad either. The Runnin’ from my magic reference is dope too, fuck it. Back like Mystikal so ‘here i go’! Haha

For me it was kinda eh. I’ve only listened once (and don’t even remember some of the songs at the moment) so maybe it’ll grow on me. Lost and Found both held my attention alot better. But not only is it competing with Found for play time right now but also Pound Syndrome and Silver Tongue Devil, both of which are good ass albums themselves.

i thought it was an absolute cracker of an album/EP. but it irratated me all the little ‘skit’ shit of tuning the radio/tv. way unnecessary. itll make replayability for me less likely.

i liked the otis track the most, but having jelly roll on there was weird. he’s not on psy O.o

it just seems a bit weird there was a ‘feature’ on what is suppose to be i suppose a teaser album for PSYCHOPATHIC

which leads me to my next thing, could this mean jelly roll is looking to sign to psy? i doubt it, but speculation is there.

and have a 3 minute song surrounded by 4 minutes of ‘skit’ is plan fuckign annoying in my book. 

i dont mind the little intros they did for everyone’s tracks, thats kind of expected, but maybe they oculd ahve made them seperate tracks, so if people dont wanna listen to them EVERYTIME they crank up phantom they can skip or remove them from their ipods. i like some skits, but that album was half skit. wasted space if you ask me. complete filler.

either way, it WAS a dope as fuck sampler/EP/LP (whatever it was), i jsut think it could have done without alot of the extra ‘tidbits’. it makes me incredibly excited for slaughter.
