I absolutely love that album it was the shit and the lyrics were fucking fire every couple seconds I was like woo but I see what everyone’s saying about all the skits on the album though but I think they were going for a PSYR17 type of vibe like last year lol

I think this could be dark carnival canon. Lyrically and musically, it’s halfway between Lost and Found. No concrete black or white direction, just a random gray area. Purgatory of phantoms. I’d go into more details but this is my third attempt at a reply because god damn the mobile site lol. ICP killed it though. I expected more out of Otis. Hoodoo’s song was good, glad it finally surfaced. ABK’s was typical. I didn’t care for DJ Paul, too simplistic. I’d like to hear a Bonez track but he probably hasn’t even begun. Or better yet, a Zug n Clay song. That lineup is killer when live, it’d be nice to hear a studio song from them.

I bounce between loving and hating the bookended clips on Phantom. If I’m listening to the whole album (minus the DJ Paul track. I do not much like that guy) the clips heighten the unpolished, underground feel that it has but if I’m just looking for one song, I can’t help but skip past the shit.

Dude, almost all the clips they chose were really fuckin good. The chick falling off the grape crushing shit was my go to video back when ebaumsworld controlled the internet.

I thought this was awesome. I can imagine some ninjas are gonna be pissed that already own the Gathering version. But for me I’m satisfied that they are giving it a full release and I own the gathering edition. I still believe Phantom shows ICP may be on the right tracks and if they can apply the vibe here to the next jokers card we could be in for a treat.
