surprised more people didnt put Pony Down. I thought everyone hated that release"All I Know" is one of the best beats ever put out by Psychopathic.
Agreed. That was an interesting album and that particular beat was so unique.
Now that the Earth has revolved around the sun a few times, what are some more of y'alls picks?
There's so many that I haven't really even checked out that I can't make a decision on still... like most of 3:33 by Zug... Cold 187um... the Three 6 Mafia and ICP with Young Wicked project that I cant remember this second...
I also only played the DJ Paul one once, off of YouTube streaming whilst drunk in my old basement. I dont remember a single bleep or blurp from it.
Quite a few releases since then, though....
Whatcha got?

5. ABK- Mudface
4. Dark Lotus- TFTLP (marz version is bad because 5 detroit accents and a chicago accent just didn't sound good, abk version is back because of obvious reasons..)
3. Violent J- The Shining (like 3 good songs)
2. Twiztid- Mutant
1. Twiztid- Abominationz (I know people love this album, I can't stand it, I want hip hop from twiztid and this album was all that emo pop punk sound they do now)

I'd like to see one long fat ass list of all PSY releases in order by date/year from '92 to present.

That’s the closest you’re gonna get (its not in order). I really love this site though, I can always look up artists I listen to and find discover more music from them. Thought Mellow Gold was Becks first album, frickin look at that site n he has like fifty demos before that.

Oh, i can only think of one right now, and it’s frickin Acid Rain. I will always love Esham and look at him as the best and a legend that no one will ever top and NATAS is the best rap group to have ever exist, BUUUT, frickin Acid Rain. I got all them songs already, IN FULL, on the original albums. The fuck I want that shit for. Then I got frickin Violent J tryna tell me what Acid Rap is all about, I ALREADY KNOW THAT SHIT MUFUCKA. Nah, but really, lol, it’s for people who ain’t heard of Esham but yknow, in my eyes currently it’s Psys worst release, doesn’t mean it’s a bad release.

In no particular order.
Missing link found - just sounds like a fucking chrisitan rap album to me.
AMB - blood in, blood out. - its got a few bumpers. But their stuff before, and after, was a lot stronger. This is easily their weakest release.
Dark lotus - the ABK re-release of tales from the lotus pod. Not only was ABKs verses just...awful, they only did it as a childish fuck you to marz.
Boondox - abaddon. I cant even say this is BAD. It was just a huge fucking let down coming off the incredible South of Hell.
Blaze - gang rags. Just...the original release of gang rags was...no.
Dishonorable mention goes to twiztids heartbroken and homicidal, and Mirror, Mirror. I know mirror mirror is kind of considered a classic but, i just cant bump it.

and my answer is the same as it was before... whatever the five worst psy albums are is a mystery to me, cuz i probably dont have em, cuz i already knew better than to buy em.
a few of these responses mystify me. but no accounting for taste.

That's why i focused on albums i might have liked. I don't get hating on something that unique. Like being on some golden goldies shit. Yeah it sucks but what did you expect.

Reminds me of people who hate Howard Stern but still listen to him. Just to get that ol hate riled up. He is what he is, like him or leave him, is my 'pinyun.
I agree with Noah about "Black Rain". Its just such a rushed, weak-sounding album at times. Add in the drunken, disillusioned Shaggy verses and man, I can't love it. I do happen to truly love a few tracks on it, but fuck this is Dark goddamned Lotus here. Everyone needs to come strong and cohesive. . However this was around the first couple times where Twiztid was "going to leave PSY" and all that, so they rushed it up too quick to promote solidarity. They did this to MUCH MUCH MUUUCH better effect on "The Mud Water Air and Blood" album, years later. Not so rushed.

Sometimes I watch movies I don't like just to get mad at them, I like getting mad at things, also it helps me better understand where it fell short and where others succeed, though I only do this if I already own the film for whatever reason, I'm not gonna buy something I hate.

black rain isnt the best, sure. but I still hold that black rain is still better than the ABK version of TFTLP.
As far as the mud, water, air, and blood. I noticed after my second listen of the album that a lot of songs there almost sound like mashups of older songs like...the concepts are very similar to earlier songs, a lot of the beats sound similar. it almost could've been a remix album.
I said that at the time, too. but people just said I was hating instead of thinking about it. I guess thats life, though.

That's so baffling to me. I'm down to give stuff a shot and will even try to see things in a different way, but to watch specifically to hate? I don't have the time or energy.

That's how i feel about black rain, more or less. All the songs sound like bad knock offs if lotus pod. It's like trying to listen to some generic copy cat band.
