I really just read the forum and never post but I remember a few months ago, ICP did a stream with Jumpsteady where they listed their hottest 5 (I think) chicks. Violent J’s picks all had a certain young girl looking type and I remember thinking this is kind of weird and pedophilish.

Yeah he’s said a lot of dumb shit he should know is not a good look on him. J’s one of those guys that’s smart in certain ways and a complete dumbass in others. 

As for the question of why is he “obsessed” with pedophilia, my guess is because he and his siblings were molested as children, as detailed in his book and other interviews. I haven’t had that experience so I don’t know what that’s like, but if my degree in Psychology and (more importantly) my years of watching crime shows and listening to crime podcasts tell me anything, people that had childhood trauma get pretty fucked up and weird about it at the very least. Obviously. 

Why would he take his 12 year old daughter to a furry convention? How is that even a question lumped into this whole thing? Because his daughter likes that shit and he supported it. 

The comparison to Billy Cosby and Michael Jackson is also a bit ridiculous at the moment. Michael Jackson was never convicted of anything, but obviously his whole presence was weird. He’s another one that basically had no childhood and a demanding father and a demanding public audience and he was just weird as fuck. I don’t know what to believe with him, he may have done some fucked up shit, but maybe not. Bill Cosby on the other hand was convicted for drugging and raping women. No coming back from that. J, on the other hand, has made some really stupid comments and has included some fictionalized “in character” lyrics, but there’s nothing else beyond that at the moment. 

Why did J get defensive in that last clip you posted? It’d be weirder if he didn’t get defensive, sounds like he’s clarifying he’s looking for young talent to sign and work on a project. Now if that happened and then he got weird about it and was inappropriate towards a 17 year old girl beyond a professional working relationship, again, that’d be something else. 

Anyway, I totally get where you’re coming from but I think you’re just for some fucked up reason wishing really hard that J is a pedophile and you’re finding off-hand comments and out of context shit to support it. And again, he HAS said some really dumb shit that he should have known better not to and I know he has a fucked up sense of humor about that shit given his background. Now if it comes about that J really has done some inappropriate things with underage girls, I’ll be the first to tell you that you’re right and I will never listen to ICP again despite my nearly 25 years of fandom.
