We have damn near 30 years worth of catalogue from the clowns if they decide to retire after concluding this current deck and just be a touring legacy act I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of. Or to deem "lazy"

Nah, they're definitely not lazy compared to other groups and bands that came up with them. They're slowing down but that's to be expected. Nothing lasts forever, and I think their best moments as artists are behind them. They have a huge catalog already so they really don't need to keep doing music. I honestly wish they didn't commit to doing 3 decks.

 

I don't think this thread is a critique of their work ethic, though. Just an insatiable fan wanting more music.

I'd say find new music to be excited about. Nothing else will be ICP but there's tons of other fantastic tunes just waiting to be explored.  

Damn skippy. Those clown men are inspirations to all of us, even the ones that are too proud to admit that. 

And what a fucking fun time we all had! Imagine in 30 years, after people pass on and things move forward as they always do

... and gradually, ever so gradually, Insane Clown Posse gets their comeuppance. They get their respect. People cover their songs with mad intensity and movements are created.

Then imagine being them, right now, knowing that you wont be appreciated by the world until after you are gone. Being aware that you will continue to hustle and struggle within. No wonder they fantasize and wax thematics over Heaven and Hell. 

In this "instant information" age, we are all aware of what we will become. Much faster than before. Edgar Allen Poe died without a cent to his name. Or recognition. 

Maybe some of you will encounter a similar fate. So have fun, whenever possible.

ah, the classic "unless you've done better, you can't criticize". it doesn't take a grammy award winning artist to be able to read the writing on the wall. The clowns aren't nearly as motivated as they used to be. which is fine, they've more than earned the right to take a break, or retire at this point. But don't pretend it's not true, or like someone can't state the obvious just because they don't...what? want to get into the rap game? what kind of stupid fucking argument is that?  

I didn't say nobody could criticize them. Just that it's funny watching people act like they know better than icp what's up for icp.

They're older. Sure. They're not as hungry. Bet. But they're still putting out albums that people buy and enjoy. That's more than I've done. And some of you aew sitting here saying how they lost a step but you ain't even left the couch.

And I think it's douchey to sit here and speculate on the demise of a band that I love. Guess we're different life that. 

No they probably won’t release much this year but they’ll do a bunch of event type shows and a couple small tours which is what brings psychopathic money nowadays so all good.
