What prompted you to say this? Seriously, why. Nobody here was talking about race at all, they brought up the Jussie Smollett thing, but NOBODY here was defending him, and nobody is playing the race card in regards to him anyways, most of the focus has been on him being gay, and even still it was more about believing him rather than agreeing with him, he wasn't being defended with "the race card" the one's defending him are the one's claiming he was telling the truth. 

I'm not saying what you said is wrong, I mean, it's worded horribly, but what your saying is agreeable, nobody owes anybody anything. But to come in and randomly spew that at the first sign of anything race related just makes you seem reaaaaaally annoying, there's only one thing more annoying than somebody who always plays the victim card, and that's somebody who can't go two seconds without spewing their rhetoric, (note: when you combine the two you get someone who needs to be shot). But in a way, you kind of are playing your own type of race/victim card by showing up to a conversation and the first thing you say is "I'M NOT RACIST" essentially implying that you're being accused of that just by existing.

Also, everybody who talks about race relations needs to stop saying, "slavery has been over for a long time" yeah, it has, but discrimination has only been over for several decades, I'm still not saying that POC are owed anything, but it's not a good card to play when it can be invalidated that easily.

I'd rather help ALL people in need, the reason they might be owed reparations would be because their families should have had more which would have lead to them having it now, so yes, it is unfair that they are in the situation they are now, BUT it's unfair that EVERYONE born into a tough situation has what they have. So it's much more fair to help everyone in need rather than just POC.

I should also say that, even though I agreed with not owing anybody anything based on their race, I don't agree with his idea that everyone is kissing black people's asses, it's something that happens on occasion and is being blown out of proportion gigantically, I used to be right along side him saying "aLl oF tHeSe mInoRiTIeS aRe gEtTinG sPecIaL trEaTmeNt" but after I started living as a minority, I immediately began to notice, oh wait, this is not nearly as common as all the fucking articles said they are, I'm not saying lgbt and race relations are the same, I'm saying it was when my views started changing a little (but they still haven't totally changed don get me wrong). And one thing I've always always always always said and that I feel like EVERYONE fucking forgets, all of these relations ALL OF THEM will change on a state to state basis, everyone needs to remember that. (and no I don't actually think everyone forgets that, it just feels like it sometime, all these absolutes are not okay)
