I get ya. What I'm saying is that it's not nudity and certainly not pornographic. They put those diagrams in middle school health books. Porn...not so much.

youre retarded and completely missed the purpose if you think fighting racism is the main topic of any of the songs... you seem jealous so youre tryin to shit on my positive political messages any way you can..
No, it's that I think your political commentary is going to come off as trite, uninformed, self absorbed and preachy. I had the same problem with Ho99o9's album United States of Horror and I still love that album. I never said that was the topic of your song, I never listened to any of the songs. I'm really picky about who covers these types of subjects. If you want to impress me you have to be much more thoughtful about what you're saying and how you're saying it.
there was nothing impressive about that Em verse...
It was funny to me and from a technical stand point he did more while saying more than you. There was nothing impressive about your verse. Which is disappointing, we expect more from a god tier rapper.

Yeah you can keep tackling the subjects you do already. Goodbye Serotonin is phenomenal.
Thank you.

What do think about this atypical political song?
I love watsky, i have since his first album. But this song always came off as childishly uninformed on the reality of the situation.
Its a CNN think piece in song form. Nothing else.

The one that you posted the lyrics to, duh. I commented before reading it that I wouldn't want to hear political banter from you since it'll end up being unthoughtful and corny. I read your verse after your predictable temper tantrum to criticism, and the verse was also as predicted. To be completely fair to the point though, I probably wasn't going to listen to it anyways. As much as you claim you're the only one making good music, there are tons of fantastic rappers out there that you have to compete with for our ears. You're not even the best on the forum. Not even in the top 5 rappers of the forum. Why would I waste my time on something that has historically been low tier from somebody that acts like an arrogant asshole? I have little faith that you have grown as an artist since after all these years you have yet to grow as a person. Still childishly having the same conniptions over your own perception of yourself not being reflected by your peers. Or maybe you're really lying and it's all just a defense for your insecurity.
Either way, I'm choosing to grace my ears with Armand Hammer, Denzel Curry, Sadistik, Noname & Avantdale Bowling Club instead.

Of course people are going to whine, bitch and moan about the song, but ultimately I thought it was done thoughtfully. The initial point has been talked about to death, but he presented it in an interesting way. A+ from me.
As for his statement, I don't think guns are the problem. The problem stems mainly from mental health but also a lot of mass shootings are traced back to alt right terrorism. The shitty and corrupt system we built is guilty of creating the perfect conditions for mass shooters. We need to change that.
But one thing that the gun lovers never want to admit or acknowledge is that gun control is the easiest and quickest way to prevent mass shootings. Chances are that our government isn't going to take mental health, the wealth inequality, they shitty public schooling systems and the incompetence of the police seriously enough. It's going to be a fight just to get change and after the fight for change it's going to take time for that change to make an impact. Gun control would be a much quicker band-aid ignoring the over arching problems. Which is mostly mental health which is also mostly impacted by our shitty healthcare system. Take me for instance. I am mentally ill. I work a full time job. I can't afford proper treatment. If I had access to a gun at a younger age I'd have been one of those cowards.

I just don't think taking guns will work in the US.

It's not what you think it is. Bullshit, bullshit.
You're afraid of imaginary nothings, and that itself is scary.
And this is coming from someone that was part of a rural militia for years.

I personally don't like guns. I just don't think with the people who do like guns it would go over well.

I caught it on the local news the other morning that their thinking of lifting the now mandatory conceal carry class and just going to allow everyone with a registered firearm to carry. To me thats kind of crazy. I live in Youngstown, there are shootings every week on the morning news. As soon as i bought my house i bought my handgun to protect us and our house. It still has factory oil in the barrel. Has only left the case to show friends and family. I will not be partaking in the lets bring our guns everywhere ideology. It does make me leary of how many unregistered firearms i pass daily. Ill be even more leary of everyone if this all goes thru. Guns are not bad, people are bad. Theres much more to this but its the unregistered ones that worry me. Im sure there are registered gun owners that are just as messed up as those that arent. I dont know man. Sorry this is everywhere, short time window to post. Maybe a stricter registry process? Maybe more metal detectors in random locations to find more unregistered?
Psyral, to me its odd that your a Texan, with ghetto neighbors, and you dont own a gun? Thats the only reason i do own one.
Yeah bitches, im that short gentleman mentioned in that youtube video.
And the very nice, level headed guy from that other youtube video.

Seems like handguns are more restricted. Seems like everybody got a gun out in the country. Hell I used to have a 12 gauge single shot.
Seriously, no registration, people just sell them to each other.
One dude went to jail for shooting at somebody, he like some old mentally ill guy always gets pissed at my bass bumps so he blares an actual siren if he hears it and pisses EVERYONE off lol.
He almost shot some kids shooting at the neighbors once.
But nah after he got out of jail for shooting at somebody, cops literally gave him his guns back.

...Psyral, what are your thoughts on Marina Butina and the NRA? That's not a gotcha' question or any bullshit like that, I'm genuinely curious.
I think Marina Butina should have registered as a foreign agent. She broke the laws of the U.S. Other than that, I had no issue with her contacts with the NRA.
I have no issue with the NRA since it does not receive federal funding. Well... to be accurate... In 2009 FWS gave $40,000 for "technical assistance". In 2010 it received $150,000 from DHS for firing range usage. In 2014 the DAAPIS gave $3,238 for firearm training. In 2015 the USDA gave $12,846 for firearm training (Yep, the United States Department of Agriculture). These amounts are practically nothing in the grand scheme of the U.S. budget.
There are many organization that receive millions from the government (from our tax dollars) that donate millions every year to only one political party. I find a problem with that. It becomes a way for a political party to essentially have a funnel of money from the government. I think that any organization that receives federal funding for anything other than services rendered should be prohibited from donating to a political party.

I am not a fan of guns. Never have been. I am a minority in conservative circles in that respect. As for our ghetto neighbors, we fit in nicely with them. We are well liked in any ghetto we have lived in. We don't fear our neighbors, even the illegal gun carrying gang members, and they just consider us as a friendly part of the neighborhood and would have our back if problems occur. We help them out when we can as long as it doesn't extend into illegal activities. They understand and respect that.
