This is a common theme for the guy. Shaggy, too (the "Fall Apart" redo from Twiztid's version).

So as far as I can remember right now... Violent J discussed his body breaking up on the following songs.. let me know if I'm missing any (I'm sure I am)..

~ Guts on the Ceiling

~ Falling Apart

~ 12

~ The Dead One

In others he is decapitated... shot... etc... this fucking dude dies a lot in his raps.

The Lap Band is more of a zip tie, and maybe some mesh stapled in there to hold it in place.

The evil avatar dies not j. Dead one hmmmmm..... just not knowing your dead. 12 story of revenge of spirit on a time limit to kill or he'd be gone

Still 4 examples  of how many songs they make? The tower the real shooter was shot from behind. Falling apart yeah true guts on ceiling just a shitty first joker card more angry and horror. Blackin a bitches eye, then next album they hate wife beaters.....

It's a pretty primal fear, when you think about it. Being dismembered.

AFAIK at least J hasn't had any dismemberments, even minor ones, so I doubt it's a trauma related thing. Although I suppose he could've been threatened with dismemberment, and that might've left him traumatized at the idea.

Or, he's just tapping into that basic, bodily, primal fear.

I feel like A Fine Day by Violent J is another one

"my neck structure shattered, back of my forehead was splattered, my heads just dangling there by the skin of my neck is what's the matter, i see my world upside down, my smile is seen as a frown, my head bobbles with no spring its more like a string slinging around, my head's like a busted melon hanging in some nylons"

It's just a trope they've used occasionally .Don't think a handful of songs out of hundreds is enough to call it obsessed.

Another common trope is ghosts being women and an aspect of his memory or imagination.

Amy's in the attic

In my room

Vera lee

Take it out on me

Shimmer

There is a strong thread of emotion tied to loneliness in all of these songs as well.

You can find other tropes too. When you have 15 jokers cards, 4 lotus albums, and countless eps, free give aways, compilation albums, and collabs, you are bound to have patterns.

15 LPs, I think. Only at like 12 joker cards so far.

I know, numbnuts. I am merely making a thread topic title with some zazzle, muhfucka!

And you forgot "Toxic Love"... Roxy Carrol the Toxic Waste Barrel could personify as one of those aforementioned entities.

As far as loneliness, J uses that as a theme A LOT.

Examples:

Mad Professor

Play With Me

Truly Alone

Never Had it Made

Hell's Forecast

Everyday I Die

Most of Hell's Pit anyway. I've discussed before that Violent J's idea of a personal Hell is being alone.

He reminds me of myself. I love people and am very loyal. We expect the same in return. People usually end up disappointing us so it hurts extra bad when we are betrayed.

This can all tie into the whole loneliness and isolation we all recently discussed in another thread.

Def agree about hells pit. I think a major reason Shangri la is so Collab heavy is because heaven, to j, is the opposite of loneliness.

Ive always thought this. When they did Hell's Pit the idea was to have no features and dont speak of Juggalos. The entire album was about loneliness and ICP dying every other track as opposed to featuring other artists and talking about Juggalos.
