"Out" is one of the best lesser known clown tracks ever, to me. It paints a hell of a picture. 

I havent been bumping much ICP lately. Was really enjoying "Flip the Rat" but I've been off that for about two months. 

That damned Zelda: BOTW has been occupying my free time for the most part.

I was thinkin we should do a thread on underappreciated ICP tracks.. 

 "Bitch I lied" is a standout from Tempest

"If" & "If I Was God" are both pretty well written..

"Radio Stars" is fire, that's like 3 hit songs in one track.. Ive been bumpin that one as well as "Back 2 Crack" a lot lately, haha..   

There are more than one "Underappreciated" or "Underrated" threads out there. Good stuff in them, too.

Off the top of me head, "The Pendulum's Promise", "It", "Crossing The Bridge", "Angels Falling", "Ghetto Freak Show", "Everyone" (Soopa Villainz), "It Rains Diamonds (Kuma Remix)", fuck I could go on all day about underappreciated ICP tracks.

I don't listen to a ton of icp tbh. I go through phases where I will or if I throw a CD in the car I'll be lazy some weeks and listen to it a few days in a row. But cpk is one I do seek out. Love that shit. Never gets old

I dusted off ringmaster a couple days back and noticied a little insight I had never caught before.

Murder go Round- the title and lyrics of the song are about the cyclical nature of violence and blood fueds. In the song he gets attacked with a lead pipe, then seeks retribution afterwards. The retribution not only affects his enemy, but the father and friends of his enemy also.

Then at the end of the track he gets his turn on the murder go Round, leaving his homies and or family to continue the cycle. Its so on the nose I can't believe ive never noticed it before.

Bravo. I never noticed this, either. 

I realized that Dark Lotus were rapping from the perspective of flowers on "Withered". It is superb songwriting. There are other themes.. rebirth, eternity, finding comfort in death. But the point is that they are fucking grown dudes rapping about being flowers and it is great. I love that song. During my more alcoholic days, my wife said that she would always hear that song playing right before I fell asleep. The shit is like a trance.

ICP are much deeper than they seem at face-value. I always felt that "Play With Me" was about more than just toys, too. Loneliness. 

The ass end of suicide hotline where that girl calls him. All she knows is him saying “yeah stop on by... bring blunts” all happy friendly... not really knowing what just went through his head... ya...
