From what I remember, J said it as more of a "these gangsters said so so we did too because we can be cool too" kinda thing lol. Probably adopted it but doubt they started the slang of it.

Pickadery does mean something. It is not just a Detroit slang word. You can't Google it either. I was called pickadery all the time when I was little by my grandmother. She used it in reference when I was being picky about something, and it fits the meaning of the lyric. I am the same age as Violent J so therefore, I believe that it may be an old Euopean term perhaps.

I think it could just be another silly name J came up with for a toy. Chopping Pickerdary.
Similar to "double blade razor whip chop jimmy" & "Mutilating Mental Case".
Because whatever it is, it's an object when you look at the context of the line and the theme is about a bullied kid who makes killer toys to get revenge on the bullies at school.
So it can't be an old timey nickname for a person who is being picky and it's obviously not a suggestion to "pick a dairy" HA HA
It's gotta be a made up name for one of the toys he made.
But what do you think the name is? Chop Bang Pickerdary or Chopping Pickerdary?
When I listen to it I hear Chopping Pickerdary.
