I really love the bizzar/bizaar projects. they always put me in a good mood.. a lot of creativity in some those songs..
It’s kinda funny how they started beefing with Em & started rappin about drug use, just like him.
Those albums, that happy friendly, non-wicked shit, and the shameless MTV courting promotion for them, were such a departure from how they had done everything. I’d call some of those promotional tactics shameful when combined with their MTV & mainstream hating lyrics. I haven’t bought an ICP album since Bizaar/Bizzar.

to me they were the perfect albums to lead into the the wraith of shangri-la.. the 6th wouldve been a lot harder to digest had they not released the bizzars..
all mtv did for them at that point in time was play “lets go all the way” occasionally on mtv2.. I dont blame them for paying for that AJB era commercial & hoping to use that platform to gain more fans.. that was over 20 years ago.. theyve kept it pretty underground since then..

You don’t remember when they begged people to go to Times Square? to buy 2 copies of Bizaar/Bizzar and give one set away to a non-Juggalo, Send in the receipts to prove it and get the Ray-Day CD-Rom? or the Seeds of the Lotus webmasters they promised all this stuff to and then never delivered?
They kept it underground because the big push backfired and alienated a good portion of their core fanbase.

I couldve sworn those were 2 different days.. the time square TRL thing was the “day of la enda” (which J admits was a bad idea in behind the paint)
while I couldve sworn ray-day, buy a cd for someone was an idea in an old weekly freekly blog. that was for all juggalos, not just those who can make it to time square.. I used to buy 2 copies on release date, religiously just to support and always gave away the 2nd copy.. back when cd stores were still a thing, so I dont see an issue with that idea either…
they were pretty much out of the mainstream spotlight after that bill o reiley interview dropped.. from there you had to look for TFTLP & the 6th..

it was two different dates
pretty sure they wanted people to buy multiple copies of bizzar/bizaar was because they were scared they were going to lose the bet to Sharon Osbourne
and the Times Square was because they wanted to get Let’s go all the way as the number 1 song requested on MTV’s TRL with Carson Daly and the song was the number 1 requested song but they ignored it and ICP wanted a bunch of Juggalos in facepaint in front of MTV in protest.
