Why can’t Shaggy use the words “The Shaggy Show”?

Is it because Joe Bruce owns the rights to the song of that same name from Jeckel Brothers since Joe Bruce wrote the song? If that’s the case, why doesn’t he renegotiate the rights with Shaggy so Shaggy can use that name? Why is Joe Bruce being such a dick that he can’t let Shaggy use that title? It’s just three words.

So you have no answers to these questions:

1. Why can’t Shaggy use the words “The Shaggy Show”?

Island own’s it since it’s off the jeckell brothers and Island paid snoop all the $$$ to be on that song and Island owns the master.
