The sample wouldnt have been a problem, island would have cleared it. It was just bc fink was featured and icp quit fucking with that dude in 95 so they did not want to promote him. Island just wanted a couple Xmas songs from icp to cash in on due to Milenko mania

Im thinking it was the sample. Island didn’t clear all the samples, just looks at the OG Forgotten Freshness and the ones Island released. Some samples cost too much to be worth the trouble.
