Is it possible? Have J and Shaggy ever gotten into serious arguments? It seems J is very difficult to deal with. Shaggy always seemed to me as the graphic designer and kinda riding the passengers seat in J’s car. Hes never really spoke about the whole dark carnival mythology or get deep into things.

That was actually pretty funny. The Shaggy dude looked like him at times. So funny how he is all about “Faygo and family!” Lol

But nah they will never break up outside of death or serious injury.

I couldn’t see that happening at all. If one of them passed, there is no way in hell the other would continue on with a replacement. They’d have to be crazy to think Juggalos would think that’s a good idea. Maybe they’d do a tribute show with special guests filling in that person’s spot, but a permanent “new clown”? Never.

I think one of them would have to do something extremely fucked up for ICP to break up. I’m sure they’ve had tough times throughout their career, but ultimately they are still in it for the long haul, still talk about how they’re best friends and get excited to see each other if they hadn’t seen each other for a few days or weeks or whatever, and I just don’t see anything breaking them up other than health issues.

I could see them pretend breaking up. Like what people thought the Twiztid split was. One of them playing the villain and taking control and kicking the other out. Do it for like an album or two and then come back together. All as a work of course. But that’s all they’d ever do. Never break up for real.

I still just say “nah” to that. Do any of their kids rap? Would any of them WANT to do that? Would J and Shaggy want to subject their kids to being called the Insane Clown Posse when it’s neither J or Shaggy in it? It’d just be weird and I don’t think people would be there for it at all.

Yeah but John has like, what, one or 2 verses total on COC and I’d argue that most current day ICP fans have forgotten that guy was ever actually part of the group. It was a one-off thing filling in for a forgotten dude that had minimal impact on the group. That is a much different situation than considering replacing J or Shaggy.
