It's pretty obvious, Psychopathic is a fucking mess and keeps getting worse.

If you are put in charge of the label tomorrow, how do you fix shit?

Release everyone who isn't ICP fron the label

Patch things up with Mike E Clark and make him the sole producer

Organize some beneficial collabs

Dig in the vaults and do a forgotten freshness every year

More vinyl releases including TWIZTID'S back catalogue if Twiztid ain't gonna be able to negotiate anymore masters out of ICP. I want the OG mostasteless on vinyl and a boxed set of the first three cryptic collections. I also want a boxed set of "chainsmoker" "phatso" and "phatso earth 2." Pick either the solos or the cryptic collections boxed sets to do a run of a few thousand and include as a bonus in every 100th set, a FREE vinyl of "Dumpin" by Psychopathic Rydas. And get the paperwork done to prove it was not made for profit since that way, no lawsuits can be launched given that those beats were all classic 90's beats from other artists.

Address the Will Sigler situation with Reeves and CPN participating in a third and final debate moderated by Scottie D who takes questions from this board so CPN and Reeves will both have to answer for their fuckups on the Sigler debate.

No more throwback or anniversary shows like Shangri-La without proper daily rehearsal leading up to the event.

First install a permanent and inflexible don't screw the crew rule. No more sex with your coworkers / co workers family.

Second, bring in new talent and producers that aren't icp fans with a dream.

Whenever a new act is signed, instead of coaching and micromanaging their debut, create a new super group to teach them how to do the shit that icp do and then let them choose what to take from that experience.

Get icp to collaborate with outsiders. I don't think psy is in trouble but the scene is very closed off. When tech collabed with Corey Taylor, i loved that shit. I don't even like slipknot. It would be nice to hear icp work with people like that.

Sign ho99o9.

Promote the fuck out of anything young wicked so sam can get some child support.

Step 1: Give myself a fat paycheck.

Step 2: Gather all of the "they suck now/things use to be better/they're done for" comments off of the internet and print them out.

Step 3: Shove em in a time capsule and bury it.

Step 4: Wait ten years.

Step 5: Gather all of the "they suck now/things use to be better/they're done for" comments off of the faster, ten years into the future internet and download them into my future retinas.

Step 6: Dig up the time capsule and take out the old comments.

Step 7: Notice that both sets of comments are almost word for word identical.

Step 8: Keep letting ICP do their thing because they've managed to keep a completely independent record label afloat for over twenty years while maintaining an incredibly loyal fan-base.

Step 9: Ride off into the sunset with my fat paycheck.

Step 10: Buy several tacos.

This seems easy, release more music.

some of those old school masters as mentioned above, put them out again, even if THOSE artists aren't with you any more... Phatso 2 no doubt.

Vinyl isn't for me, but its very popular among collectors right now. but sole focus on the music should be it.

I'm speaking for myself I guess, but all I want is more music. one tour every October/November, a gathering, and MUSIC.

Was gonna make that point myself, would love to see them reprint all the old obscure hatchet releases on cd/vinyl.

Here's the current reality though - Psychopathic (Billy and J) would know better than any of us how many copies they could expect to sell quick of a new release without sitting on any inventory.

They decided to only press 500 copies of that new ICP double cd they just put out at the Gathering.

And when they released the Phantom EP on Hatchetgear they went full bootleg and put out the first 1000 copies on CDRs, before they pressed up another proper 1000 copies which sold out quick, and it has never been restocked since then.

I think their budget/patience to deal with selling physical media has gone way down, hence the new involvement of a third party in PSY's online merch game (no more Hatchetgear).

Successful nutride, bro. You're in fine form.

By the way, who was heckling you at the Gathering?

Sounds like some funny shit.

Do tell.

I'm not convinced that Psychopathic is in any sort of financial trouble. But anyway, hard to say what I'd really do. One thing that I'd address is Violent J. We all know he's always been a huge driving force for ICP's success and Psychopathic's success. But we've all noticed he's seemed a little "off" in interviews and performances lately. Some think maybe he's on drugs, and maybe there's some truth to that. But, he's also lost a shitload of weight. When he was asked in an interview recently how he lost so much weight, he literally said that he starves himself. Weight loss was something he really needed but it sounds like he's doing it in such an unhealthy way. So if he's seriously barely eating, that would explain odd behavior, fucking up performances, etc. I know this seems like an odd thing to discuss in this thread, but seriously, he needs to get his shit together and not make such bad health choices. I forget, was he asleep at the wheel or just totally zoned out when he got in his recent car wreck? Dude needs to get his health together, it's impacting everything he's doing. In my mind, the whole label suffers if he's not all there.

Aside from that, one thing ICP is doing more and more of that I would definitely keep up as CEO of Psychopathic is the special event shows. In recent years, it's certainly become a trend for bands to put on special performances of entire albums that their fans love. And rightfully so, I fucking love it. So they've already done The Riddle Box tour, and have done one-off performances such as the AJB performance and Shangri-La, but basically they should do that shit a lot. Fans love it, and logistically it's probably somewhat easy for the group to put that sort of tour together and I'm sure it's profitable. So, they always have the special performance shows and tours to rely on.

Others have also mentioned they should be putting out more of the Psychopathic back catalog on vinyl. I absolutely agree with that. ICP is well known for their merchandising and Juggalos are some merch buying mother fuckers. But aside from being a Juggalo, I think people in general are often willing to purchase vinyl albums and get excited about an album that's never been on vinyl before from the past getting released on vinyl. Vinyl's back for a reason, people are realizing you can't duplicate the experience of a vinyl album with some nice speakers digitally. So keep that shit coming out. Put out Twiztid's shit, Cracked Tiles, all that shit. Fuck 'em.

Here's another merchandise opportunity. You guys familiar with the company GameFace? They were on shark tank, they do peel and stick full face paint things. You just peel an entire facepoint design off of plastic and stick it on your face and it actually looks pretty good. How the fuck are ICP not trying to have that shit with their facepaint and other Juggalo-esque face paint? People will still want to actually paint their face, but I bet a lot of people would like this and buy it.

I'd also say cut out dead weight such as ABK. But, I don't even know if he's still on and even if he is, he probably costs nothing at this point. If they are currently looking for another artist, I'd say don't waste their time. They should focus on building up ICP, Lyte, and Hoodoo. Not that I think much of Hoodoo but apparently he does alright for himself.

This is an interesting question. First I would 86 some shit. No press releases, websites, interviews, social media accounts or other PR. I would try to reintroduce some mystery to ICP. No VIP packages. No press passes. Focus on the hotline, tours and quality merchandise. Old school.

Focusing on tours and quality merch is for sure good moves.

I would do what I can to make Joe squash that whack ass beef with Twiztid camp and make and release a new Dark Lotus album. Then I would quit/get fired because at that point my work is done.

Whatever I did, it'd revolve on getting Violent J off of whatever the fuck he's doing. Sorry, but I don't buy the lap band shit or whatever excuse was going around. J looks unhealthy and while he wasn't any healthier at his heaviest, he's another kind of unhealthy now.

The idea of getting Mike E Clark back is a good one, as well as letting go of most, if not all of the nobodies that've been signed as of the past 5 years or so. And while I think G-Mo Skee's diss was way better than Violent J's, I'd have ICP and Twiztid make up, because it's ridiculous to begin with.

Last, but not least, get hatchet gear or whatever they're calling it now to be less hit or miss. When people buy shit, ship it out. I'm not exactly sure why it takes 3 weeks or more to ship shit out, but if it's because the items aren't in stock, then don't list them as such.

I'm the neck cutta and I'm one block away...

close up shop. Try to get collabs with those you ran off and tailcoat on others careers, if I were ICP. Psy has no cred on making new artist now so cut everyone and focus on the homegrown product - dudes can't rap now so I'd just say stick to some featured tracks.

PSYCHOPATHIC ISN'T IN TROUBLE IN ANY WAY.

The only problem is bitchy ass spoiled fans who don't respect the dynasty that ICP has built and continues to maintain. If you ain't down with ICP and Psychopathic that is YOUR problem, not Violent J's. You are some Sharon Osbourne mother fuckers and need to turn in your hatchet if you can't hang anymore.

Ruthless records was only around for a few years and went through more BS than Psy ever has, and yet they still get respect as one of the greatest rap labels??? Because hardcore NWA fans weren't spoiled as shit like we are and treasure what little music came out of it. ICP could drop every artist right now and only release an album every 3 years and I would still have mad love and respect for them.

Learn your music history you bitch ass "Juggalos", start and maintain your own label if it's so fucking easy.

One day they will be too old to continue and will retire, you gonna look back on their career and say "fuck them"? WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE WORLD'S LIKE FUCK US KILL US, WHAT WILL YA BE???? WHAT ABOUT WHEN I'M 103, WHAT WILL YA BE??????

P.S

Check the social media numbers and venue bookings. ICP is still on top and MNE is faaaaaaaar behind. Just because they sell more merch and have more artist doesn't mean Psy is falling apart. Y'all are falling apart.

You're just spewing bullshit.

Twiztid's billboard numbers are now destroying ICP's.

Hell even Boondox's first full length on MNE outcharted ICP's Missing Link:Found.

Boondox moved more units than the clowns! embarassed

Also Violent J and Shaggy were having trouble drawing more than 100 people to their solo shows last year.

Joe did a show in front of 50 ninjas looking all pissed off, shit's on Youtube. He cancelled the rest of his mini solo tour shortly thereafter.

ICP will never die, but Psychopathic is running on fumes, and it's muffler is draggin' on the fucking ground.
