I haven't seen anything official come out but I wouldn't doubt it. ICP don't care about making music anymore. They just want to live stream and tell ghost stories.

What if they were to... I don't know... tell ghost stories, but make them rhyme and have music in the background? And maybe have a part that they repeat in between the different parts of the stories? Wouldn't that be neat?

You know what else is neat? Everytime I sit down to take a shit, my balls hit the toilet water. Shaggy ain't got nothing on these stretch nuts.

I don't mean to single you out here, but I can't really understand this attitude I keep seeing by some Juggalos on here and on places like Reddit. Yes, it's always disappointing to be told something you're looking forward to is not happening as soon as you originally thought.

But "ICP don't care about making music anymore", really? Grammar issues aside, these guys have been going at it for 30 years and have put out WAYYY more music than probably almost anybody else you can think of that you've enjoyed at some point or another in your life. 1 week from today marks the 2 year mark of when FFF came out. Of course it also came out with Flip The Rat, there's been solo EPs and other shit. They don't really "owe" anything. When they announced Yum Yum was originally going to come out on Christmas which would have been less than 2 years after their last major release, I knew that was crazy.

We expect new music because they promise us new music.  I get that the album was delayed shit happens but they came out and said they had the Lore ep ready to drop, they said the Juggalos who bought the December stream would get it on cd and it would be out digitally within a few days it never came out no word on it until Wednesday when J said it was done and would be out the next day and it still hasn't came out.  I agree with Chevy, ICP owes us nothing but when you see Shaggy doing countless youtube videos and podcasts and they do these bimonthly streaming things its easy for people to think they don't care about making or releasing music anymore

Well I certainly do agree that they need to knock it the fuck off with the announcing release dates for projects they have not finished, they're just setting themselves up for failure and setting up their fanbase for disappointment. So I'm with you on that, but wanted to offer a broader perspective instead of agreeing that they don't care about making music anymore because free giveaway shit hasn't come out yet and they over promised on their 11th Joker Card. I know J especially gets excited about shit and likes to give the scoop on what they have coming up

At this point broken promises seem to be part of Psy's business model. At the Oklahoma GOTJ Ouija crashed our camp, offered me his drink, & asked where next year's GOTJ should be. I said "Colorado, because they already promised", & that made him beam & hug me. Guess we're both dreamers. Hope they release the music soon so I can see Tom Wood's Yum Yum masterpiece.

PSY's business model for the last 5 years - "Bilk the V.I.P crowd". 100 bucks to meet them at a show for 2 minutes and maybe be handed the V.I.P cd you were promised. HatchetGear shut down and now all the merch they sell is hugely marked up on PSY Vault and released in tiny quantities to make ninjas believe it's rare. Haven't put out any music during the whole year-long lockdown yet Shaggy finds time to sit across from Kegan every week for a few hours to collect all your youtube superchat money.

This latest shit has really exposed their total lack of work ethic, clearly they are used to having flunkies around to do most of the real work for them, but even J Webb got sick of dealing with their horseshit.

Also, what the fuck does Billy Bill do around there except mean-mug ninjas at shows?

See. This is what I meant when I said ICP doesn't seem like they want to make music anymore. They seem more interested in their little side hustles. Custom clown clips (which they made to make more money since cameo would take a cut). Their patreon shows. Shaggy doing shit with kegan. Etc.

I have to agree with you. I saw ICP back in 2013 on The Mighty Death Pop tour, one of their last real tours. I bought a VIP pass, which was $100. But it was well worth the money. I mean shit, I got to meet J and Shaggs, get a picture with them, a MDP flag which I had them autograph, a lanyard and memories for a life time. Plus, got to get up on stage during the faygo armageddon and spray faygo everywhere! Ya'll complain that they're just doing shit for money, but yeah, they do need to make money, like the rest of us. But you're getting your money's worth, so quit your bitchin'.

Or don't. You're entitled to bitch and complain as much as you want. cocknoodle shitfuck bitchballs.

Sorry, I maintain that this criticism kind of comes across as some weird entitlement lacking of any thought to the fact that these are just 2 dudes with families living their lives. I haven't watched all of the new Shaggy & Creep shows but what I've seen so far was clearly all filmed in the Summer, and so what if he gets together with Creep once/week for 2 hours for a podcast? Assuming most of us have a 9-5 type of job, if your boss saw you taking some time here and there to do things you enjoy in your own free time and then criticized you for not caring about your job because of what you do with your own, you'd tell them to fuck off and mind their own business right? What if Shaggy just came from the studio to then do the podcast, or what if he went right after it? We don't know.

As far as them charging for VIP passes, we all have the choice to purchase that or not. Nobody's forcing anything. And that's also become the norm for ticket sales these days to offer perks like that for those interesting in paying more for it. So what?

Another band I've followed for a long time that has had a 30 year career like ICP is 311. They were scheduled to hit all 50 states on their tour last year in celebration of the 30 years and of course that all got cancelled. They put out no new music since then and have had a couple of live streaming shows planned, one of which had to get delayed due to whatever circumstances and all of them have commented on how they have enjoyed the break and actually having extended time at home with their families and friends in a way they haven't had for decades. Again, so what? They owe us nothing and these are people.

And once again just so I'm clear, I do agree that ICP needs to stop announcing release dates and other things that they cannot follow through on. That is indeed frustrating and can be discouraging to fans that are considering participating in future events. Shit does happen, but they've had it happen quite a lot and it is annoying.

I think the one thing we all agree on is we would love to hear some new ICP music. FFF was fire and flip had some jams too so im really looking forward to the next card and all the seed eps.

I dont get this "They dont seem to want to make music anymore thing" theory. Their last album was in 2019. They've been recording through out 2020 and now their new album plus multiple EP's are scheduled to come out this year. That is completely normal and reasonable for any band. Shit try being a fan of The Offspring like i am. The last album they dropped was in 2012 and i'm pissed that its taking them 9 years to write 14 new songs.

Also something else i just thought of. Violent J is pretty much on his own on the songwriting front. Not saying Shaggy doesn't add stuff here and there but we all know J is the main songwriter for ICP. Gotta give it up to him for writing his ass off all these years and still being as creative as he is.

let me kick you some knowledge real quick.

if the music meant that much to them, they'd pay their producers. they care about money, not music. thats why they rip off their producers until they quit. which is whats leading to all the delays. the patreon thing, the youtube videos, custom clown clips, shaggy's podcast. that makes more money for less effort.

lol i dont know why but i totally read that as White Goodman from Dodgeball smile

Fair enough man if thats how you feel. I feel that if they didnt care about making music anymore then they'd just retire. J seemed really excited about this card saying its his second favorite they've done. They're obviously still into making music.
