Been a long while since we've heard anything on the album. I'm under the impression they're gonna hold out on releasing it until they can tour.
Part of me wonders if some of the tracks on Yum Yum Lure were supposed to be on Bedlum but they decided move a few tracks to the EP. Just so they can record some new material for Bedlum.

I imagine they hold off till late summer/early fall. Who knows?
I'd postpone all the release dates in your mind.
Did you see J during the Neden Game PPV?
He seemed completely wired and totally out of it all at the same time.
His hands were shaking in a way that makes one worried about his health, check it-

I'm thinking September to October,
As for that video, I've been worried about Js health. I haven't paid for this month's subscription but based on the February one, he seemed lost and fumbling around during that Family Feud show. Plus it's apparent Ruby is assisting him at home. I really hope he's okay and I'm not over speculating,

Just watched the first 10 mins - the hand shaking thing is a little odd but I honestly was thinking his behavior would be worse given things people have said but I'll keep watching. Shit, the hand shaking can be as simple as too much caffeine or something.
Anyone know what the "rules" are for these events? Like obviously none of the contestants are distanced or wearing masks and stuff so I wondered if they did testing there for peeps or whatever. I'm assuming not, but, definitely curious as to how they are running this stuff.

They are running this the same way they always have, flaunting the rules and hoping they don't get caught.
I thought it was funny how the Shaggy & Creep Show devolved in this regard. At first they were always wearing masks and at least pretend to be conscious of it, but then it only took them a few weeks to be back to literally spitting at each other in almost every episode.

Not sure about where they are but here there are no mask mandates or distancing restrictions. Individual businesses can have their own rules but the state does not require any of that.

I haven't watched all of the Shaggy & Creep show episodes yet but the fact that it's just the 2 of them makes it no biggie to me. I doubt they get tested before they see each other but just hanging with a friend is much different than the Patreon stuff where there are large groups of people and it seems you're sitting right up against strangers. If everyone's cool with it there then OK, but it does seem odd given that they cancelled the Gathering.

Thanks for that, I kind of figured that'd be the case but kind of expected ICP to still have SOME kind of guidelines like at least sit people apart from each other or something. It's kind of like sporting events throughout the country where you can still go, but you go with your own party and the next party is separated by a few seats or whatever.

I think the design for the Yum Yum Flower is exceptional. I always said if ICP made a female joker's card it would be The Ringmaster with boobs but they exceeded expectations. The pedals as stylish hair, the vase as hips and her make up give her a completely feminine look without being an oversexualized caricature.
Yum yum flowers are found in Asia and it was clever to give her a Geisha influence with the facepaint as well.
After hearing the Lure ep, my theory about the concept is that while loyalty is the obvious theme, there will be anti-drug subtext. ICP are probably well aware how many Juggalos abuse hard drugs and it seems like they're going to address it through subtext.
The opening song Bewitching perfectly describes the relationship between a user and their addiction. The other song that clearly connects to drug dealing is Candyman. Not only that, but most drugs are sourced from flowers and have a woman's name as a slang term. Considering the yum yum flower is found in Asia, this could also be a connection to opiates.
An interesting detail I noticed is there's a place called the "yum yum fun court" where you can buy dangerous items, referenced in Ding Ding Doll and Mighty Mote. They don't buy drugs but it does establish shifty transactions that leads to demise. Maybe the theme is addiction in general? To drugs, women and material objects?
Idk but I'm stoked for this release and it does suck to see so many touchy, sensitive juggalos who can't get over that the card is a woman with the word "yum" and "flower" in the name. So far there's a lot of themes to analyze from just an EP and it's fun. This is what ICP is all about. Dig deeper folks.
And for those saying Joker cards are gender neutral entities...... Tell me, how are the Amazing Jeckel BROTHERS JAKE and JACK gender neutral? How is Fred a gender neutral name? They constantly use "he" to describe every card except Carnival of Carnage!
This card is a venomous flower woman. Get over it.

Why don't you write a novel about it?

I mean I'm not bothered by them not doing the covid protocol stuff. It was cool for the beginning when shit was new and we were all not completely informed....than again I'm a dumb Texas juggalo that's been going to live socially distanced(barely) events like stand up comedy shows and concerts here in Austin. I've been vaccinated but can't lie that was recently.
Shaggy recently shot down the idea of touring the open states when asked on the podcast.
