He’s had this slur for quite some time now. I wonder what it is. Something teeth related? I feel like it might be due to a stroke.
This is really just speculation on my part, so don’t take this too seriously, but the reason I think that is because that slur reminds me of the slurs Lord Infamous and Brotha Lynch Hung developed. DJ Paul revealed that Lord had suffered a stroke and a heart attack in 2010.
Tech revealed that Lynch had a stroke around 2015, and Lynch confirmed it, and he had that slur ever since.
To be fair, Lynch and Lord have always been a little slurry and lispy, but it definitely got noticeably worse at those points in their careers.
Strokes also increase the risk of heart disease and on “Medals” off the Peep Show EP, J raps:
“…and today, they call this middle age, but I know, my middle age was long ago,
my heart begins to weaken, Rob starts freakin’,
then tweakin’ (?) to keep me strong as a bull.”
I dunno, maybe this is just bullshit, but I keep thinking of it whenever I hear J rap or even talk nowadays.
Or maybe.. just maybe.. J’s fate was sealed when he covered I be Strokin’!

It is on CD, but only if you subscribed to the December Patreon. Which is why they’re selling for crazy amounts on eBay.

Speculation has it that J’s slur really kicked in after he upgraded to Xanax bars. Here’s a quote from an online treatment center-

After a few days here’s my little review of each track.
1. Bewitching: Not a amazing intro. That probably will be saved for Yum Yum Bedlums actual album. Pretty well verifies what we expected of Yum Yum head splitting open. Look forward to seeing that design.
2. Loyalty: I didn’t expect this track to open, as it did. Probably one of the best on this EP. Shaggys verse was great and I’m hoping he is more involved on this project unlike FFF which was predominately more Violent J rapping.
3. Afraid of Life: Never expected Alien Ant Farm and ICP to be on a track. If theirs more collabos between them on YYB, hopefully it isn’t overdone though. Really enjoyed the placement of them on this track. We all know this will be epic opening up shows when Faygo is flying. The idea of this song felt like a better version of WTF.
4. Smell of Rain: a stand out track. Beat gives huge My Axe vibes. At this point this EP already keeps my attention over the Flip The Rat EP.
5. Ding Ding Doll: okay so I like this track, but I stand by my judgement the chorus needs a extra kick. It lacks somthing. That said I don’t dismiss the track.
6. I’ve Had it Worse: Skippable for the most part. I like the chorus but cant get behind Js rapping style.
7: Candyman: As I said before I’m positive this is a stripped down Mike Clark beat buffed and polished. (LezbeHonest from South of Hell) J did say Mike Clark Beats are on the album but he didn’t work directly with them I believe. Pretty good Shaggy track.
8: Clownheads:Doesn’t add nothing except it is a 7 minute plug for the paintings. Also some hype for Yum Yum Bedlum.
Overall I’m very curious if any of these tracks are appearing on the main album, original exclusive recordings for it, or just outtakes. I don’t recall ICP ever talking about Yum Yums Lure on the October stream. It wasn’t till later the EP was spontaneously mentioned in December, all we knew in October was 3 seed Eps and the main album.

Honestly. i don’t have any specific thoughts or a review of tracks or anything like that.
im just really fucking not feeling this album at all. it’s not terrible. they’ve done worse records. i don’t actively hate any of the songs. It just doesn’t do anything for me. I’m completely apathetic towards everything im hearing.
this EP could not exist at all and nothing would change.

J is putting the words into someone else’s mouth. It’s pretty tasteless but they’ve done it for decades with fag. It’s not great but I guess he feels like if it’s not him calling someone the slur it’s OK. I didn’t even hear them the first time, I focused on the lines right after.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter
