Didn’t mean to bite, just saying to me the hatchet is for all juggalos and how i decided to rock mine is strange to me that you are getting upset about it, i’m not claiming to be part of psychopathic or trying to rip them off, Just expressing my Hatchet friend. We all Family man. And besides the Hatchetman and several other pieces of Psychopathic artwork is under a Creative Commons License, which was obviously done for this purpose, but also means psychopathic can use mine or any other published hatchetman for whatever they please and so on….

The way I look at it, as long as you aren’t trying to deceive people with the logo, it’s all good.
I have no idea how intellectual property laws looks at it. I know Creative Commons from a developer standpoint. I write all my non-work (personal) projects as CC:0 (Creative Commons: Zero – All reproduction, copying, altering, usage for commercial or non-commercial, etc. is allowed without consent. … but they can’t further copyright it beyond CC:0. ) There are further CC classifications beyond CC:0 (public domain) -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons_license
I say use it. You are not trying to make people think you are someone or something else. If there is an issue, you’ll get a cease and desist in which case you just change it up. … I doubt that would happen. I see so many variations of hatchet men out there and I’ve never heard of issues.
I’ve seen some really cool Hacketman alterations that people sell online and they seem to have no issue. Here’s a Kokopelli style Hatchetman:

Experimental music and sounds are a niche audience. I like it sometimes. It’s a break from the common and expected.
If you make music for you, you can never go wrong. And some will like it and others will not, just like some people may like the way I dress and others think it’s silly.
