I have always thought if you can’t do it sober, don’t do it. Of course you are gonna make some while high if that is part of your life. Art has got to mimic life. But if you have to be high for all of it then you are not being yourself unless you really want a drug defining you. Just my thoughts.
I am not against drugs. In fact I think they should be mandatory in everyone’s life at least once. I don’t do drugs (for the most part). I can’t say I am straight edge completely since caffeine and nicotine still have a strong daily hold on my life. And I will have to come clean on smoking pot once a year (it’s my GOTJ thing).

if you mean recording music, i believe that one should make it a point to do it sober. in my experience, anyway; it always got better results, from every person i ever recorded.
lots of times, sitting around drinking or getting high, while making for a fun time, also utterly wasted entire sessions. this was not uncommon. not when recording myself, of course, so i didnt much care if someone else wanted to party instead of work.
if you have to be high for all of anything, youve got a real problem, and its time to clean up.
last couple years, my gotj thing has been lysergic acid diethylamide. probably not a great idea, in the abstract.
caffeine and nicotine are great. well, they would be, if they werent so lousy. either way, im all about both.

honestly i put the meth part in there just cuz it rhymed and to me it sounded good in the song… there is NO WAY IN HELL ill touch that shit ive seen to many lives ruined by it… the worst i have ever done is coke and that has been 2 maybe 3 times my entire life (and its something id do on new years or something… i would say gotj but ive never been to one sadly… never could get out there for it) but ya nicotine caffeine and weed are the only things i do but i havent even smoked weed in about a week and a half now… but the whole meth thing is like when richter (or however u spell his last name) was talkin about all the shit in wasted with twiztid

EDIT*** Not to be on a high horse I may or may not have done just about every drug known to man…including but not limited to Cocaine (hard and soft), Heroin (smoked), a myriad of hallucinogens pretending to be LSD in addition to the genuine article, Meth(smoked), Mushrooms, Extasy, Molly, Mescaline (in both peyote button and synthetic form), Opium, a number of Benzos most favorably xanax, Id keep going with prescriptions but ive already said too much…you get the point…ive been there and done that and can tell you first hand its not the route to go down…
Im now 26 and poised to graduate from college this year and have a career lined up for myself because of alot of climbing out of holes I made for myself around your age…take it or leave it its there none the less…
