@novocaine there is an art to it. I’m not a wrestling fan and could easily live with out it but there is an art to wrestling and it’s much more than play fighting. It’s more like a live stunt show play. There are people out there that enjoy wrestling for the actually wrestling rather than the gimmicks and the stories and Jim Cornette is one of them and he hates ICP because they simply did not belong at all. Yeah, they’re huge fans and shit, but they sucked at wrestling.

the key word there is ART. im not gunna say its easy todo without getting fucked up, because it isnt. but its essentially all play acting. 

id never heard of jim cornell before that video surfaced, but it sounds like he’s got a stick up his arse because they cast the wrong actors in his favourite movie.

My brother was a stunt man, & I agree. I watched some wrestlers practicing at the last Hogrock Gathering and they needed to be physics majors to pull off some of the moves and not hurt themselves or each other. The movie The Wrestler has a great scene when some wrestlers are getting ready for a performance, and it shows how they prep their tricks (like hidden razorblades) and bond before a show.
