raw after mania was fun to see. wyatts attacking league of nations. aj styles is #1 contender in what was an excellent main event. divas now women, cessaros back, enzo/big cass, Apollo crews debuted. nattie is feuding with charlotte. good stuff. a lot of better booking decisions than Mania. see how long it lasts though.

I feel like they had to scramble to due all the injuries to come up with a decent show still at wm. especially since it was at a huge venue. It was OK. It had its spots. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. We all knew even before the injures that Reigns was gonna win the belt. At this point I'm just thinking let him have his run and see if anything can happen. The future looks bright for WWE and raw was proof of that. Its not gonna just happen overnight. It will get there though...hopefully.

I saw one episode and it was awesome. I don't have the EL Rey channel and I don't have time to watch it online. Do you watch ROH at all? I DVR that and they got some good wrestlers/matches. It doesn't have the entertainment value or drama like WWE but the always have solid matches.

lucha underground is great. it is like a gangster/supernatural type of show first then a wrestling show. each week I see a move I have never seen before. good stuff.

raw was actually entertaining again! cesaro/owens was great as was sami/aj styles. women's championsip was very good. I knew it would finish that way. reigns/wyatt teaming? weird but had my interest.

Yeah, I've been watching a few episodes on YouTube. Holy crap. Now that's awesome. Johnny Mundo, he used to be John Morrison in WWE, he's way more entertaining in Lucha Underground. Then you got the big dude with the black jason esque mask, Mantanza his name was?

Too bad I don't have the El Rey channel though. It's one of those channels you have to pay extra for I think, it's definitely not included in the standard cable package. Otherwise, I'd be tuning in everytime a new episode aired.

RIP Balls. ECW!

@86 I'm in the same boat. Comcast around here has El Rey but I have Verizon and love their service so much better than Comcast. I wish they would have the episodes on the El rey website or shoebox. Even if El rey had a mobile app. Dunno if you watch ring of honor but they got good matches too but their show and the production is now where as exciting as LU or even wwe. But if your looking for good in ring work roh is good. A lot of wwe guys like seth rollins and Kevin Owens were there before they made it big.

The future of TNA, long and short-term, has been a major topic of discussion over the last few weeks.  With this week's Impact Wrestling tapings set for Universal Studios Florida, here is where things currently stand.

Since January 2016, TNA has been working with Aroluxe, a marketing and production company based in Tennessee that has taken over TNA's production as part of a deal that, according to multiple sources, sees Aroluxe handle all of the expenditures for TNA tapings and then sees TNA reimburse them for expenses as well as pay them for their services.   Aroluxe is the company that former pro wrestlers Ron and Don Harris (then known as The Bruise Brothers) have been involved with.  It provides TV Production, social media management, media buying, web management and other services to clients.

The word that has made the way around TNA performers in the past week is that a payment to Aroluxe is due imminently (one version of the story is that the payment is due today, another is that it is due Wednesday) and that based on TNA's contract with Aroluxe, if the payment is not made, Aroluxe would then be able to claim majority ownership of TNA Wrestling, leaving Dixie Carter a minority owner.   We have not been able to 100% confirm that but that version of the story has made it's way around a big portion of the company's roster over the last seven days.

they come in 3s. First Blackjack mulligan, then balls Mahoney and now her. she was doing her thing before trish and lita and the rest. she deserves it. I don't like how she ended up after wrestling but she still made a huge impact on wrestling.

This is going to be a little off topic, but I've been hearing "death comes in threes" quite often in the last couple months. Can this actually be true, or just coincidence that three big time wrestlers died roughly around the same time? And in terms of 2016 as a whole, we're only four months in and there's been alot more than three celebrity deaths this year, and there's been two personal deaths for me this year.offtopic

its more a mental trick, than anything else.

my own theory is that when people hear about a death, they tend to think back to the last couple recent deaths, but not much further.  thus, it often seems like theyre comin in threes.

another possible contributor, is that the media has a hard time remembering more than three things at the same time...  so coverage is biased toward the 'top' three, at any given moment.

really, people are dying at a fairly steady rate, just like always.  i spose we hear about em quicker today... but anyway, no supernatural numerological phenomenon.

This is a really good video, shows you just heavily edited the crowd was at Wrestlemania 32. I still haven't watched anything WWE since WM32, from what I read about it, it's still terrible.

Ok we got another WWE ppv. Let's open it up for some discussion. The Tagline is "The first pay-per-view of a New Era".  We shall see. WWE is known for saying one thing and delivering another. Hopefully this isn't much of the same. As much as I have been let down before I cannot help but still watch WWE. ROH has great matches but very little on story line on their shows. TNA is boring and basic. NJPW is airing matches from a year ago. Lucha Underground I can't even watch on TV. WWE is still the only one that still puts on a halfway decent show. Since WM it has gotten better and I am liking the new faces and story lines. Another funny thing with this PPV is that on the Wikipedia page, the cover for this PPV has the Wyatt family and they aren't even on the card. Both Wyatt and Harper are out with injuries.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c9/WWE_Payback_%282016%29_poster.jpeg

Ok here's my predictions

Kalisto v Ryback: WHO CARES. Kalisto hasn't been pushed for shit with his run as champ since beating Del Rio. He beat Ryback in a shitty opening match at WM that most people didn't even see. The problem is these two don't pair well together in the ring. In addition Ryback has been a waste of a character. Is he a heel now? He doesn't even say his little line when he comes out for his match. He shed his "John Cena" like colors and stopped wearing that gawdy "Feed Me More" necklace thing the he would give to a fan. He now looks like he should, a big angry meat head. Who cares who wins at this point.

Miz v Cesaro: If Miz wins its with the help of his wife obviously. Setting up for a rematch at Extreme rules. Look for Cesaro to dominate and put on a good show in the ring as always. Miz can work a match with the best of them too so I expect this to be a solid match for in ring work.

Dolph Ziggler v Baron Corbin: What happened to the show off? He is just there. He is a known face and a fan favorite. It just seems like he is now relegated to being a jobber for the stars. Hopefully he can win one here but I doubt WWE is gonna give him the win. I never liked Corbin in NXT. Decent worker but a boring character and just looks like a douche. I'm sure he will win though.

Sami Zayn v Kevin Owens: This will be a good match if not the best match of the night. Could go either way. I see Owens getting DQed setting up for an extreme match on the next PPV. These two obviously have worked together for years so WWE is not gonna make this a one and done. They have put on some great matches and that won't end soon.

Dean Ambrose v Chris Jericho: Ambrose is a bigger name in WWE than Styles was when he fought Jericho. As much as I hated that Jericho won at WM, I don't see him winning against Ambrose. This should be a solid match though and have some fun spots. I expect some kind of carnage here. Ambrose needs the win though. I didn't think he would beat Brock at WM but I thought they would of let them do more than they did since the match was No Holds Barred. Since then he has just been in limbo. A win tonight puts the Lunatic Fridge right back in the mix of things.

Enzo and Cass v the Vaudevillians: Vaudevillians win here. Why? I have no clue. Enzo and Cass are over hugely right now so if they lose it won't be clean. New Day is over even more so it doesn't make sense to have face v face for the title. English and Gotch win here then lose to the New Day. Tag division is looking stacked now though, finally.

Charlotte v Natalya: I love Nattie and am glad she is getting some exposure again. This though is just another advancement match for Charlottes reign. These two work well in the ring together and with Bret Hart on the side this is looks like a must see match.

Reigns v Styles: *sigh* I am a huge Styles fan. Dude truly is phenomenal. If you don't believe me just watch ANY match he had in New Japan. He of course will lose to Reigns. It's not Reigns fault though. WWE put the belt on him and he is just playing his part. He sucks at his part obviously but he is their guy right now. Hopefully there is some surprises like gallows and anderson screwing over Styles or even a Finn Balor debut. And I hope Reigns botches more moves and the crown boos him even more. Like I said, its not his fault he is in the position his is but that doesn't mean I have to like or support the guy. Let him have his little run and then bury him worse than Triple H after the Klik incident at MSG

Because of the lack of things to do, I'll be watching Payback tonight. Plus, wrestling is me and my wife's "thing" and it's a great way to spend time with each other.

Anyways, on to the show. It really sucks that they keep shoving Kalisto to the pre-show. That ain't fair. Oh but when Cena had the US Title it just had to be on the main card. Seems like the US Title was only a symbol of excellence when Cena had it. boooooo WWE, boooo! Kalisto deserves to at least be the opening match on the main card.

I'm beginning to like Baron Corbin. Hope he wins. Well, he's going up against Dolph Ziggler, so of course he'll win. (Burn)

Miz wins after his wife disrupts the match.

Dean Ambrose beats Jericho because I'm a PROUD PATIENT OF THE AMBROSE ASYLUM, and because Jericho's whiny little tantrums are getting on my nerves.

I love Nattie, and I hope she beats Charlotte. I can't honestly predict this. Ric won't be able to pull his shenanigans at ringside, not with Bret The Hitman Hart in Nattie's corner. This one will be unpredictable. GO NATTIE!

And Reigns beats AJ Styles because Vince isn't going to have the guy from TNA go over his guy Reigns.

Most anticipated matches for me tonight: Ambrose vs Jericho, Nattie vs Charlotte.

So I was watching this TNA Knockouts match (forewarning, it's a terrible match, but also hilarious) and was wondering how Shelly Martinez's boobs DON'T fall out of that top?
