watching the first game right now and fuck these guys must have a killer cardio workout that field is huge
i used to be on a field maintenance crew, we had to chalk out soccer fields over and over. it got to where i could mark a field in my sleep. softball fields, too.
of course, those fields were for soldiers, and most of them can run all day and all night.
and with forty kilos of gear on their backs, too.

Referee was a cunt. Typical for brazil to get favourable treatment and not only cuz they’re the host nation. We played well though.

Yeah we all love different stuff. Most of the world hates gridiron. I actually don’t mind it. A bit stop and start though.

ive been meaning to check australian football out. started to watch a game once, ended up doing something else.
only thing i really remember is that it seemed like there was forty or more guys on the field. a huge mob running around doing… whatever it is that they do.

I can’t watch soccer for the same reasons I can’t watch hockey and baseball(though I grew up playing it and still love it). Not enough scoring for my liking.
College Basketball is for me the best sport to watch and not just because my team is arguably the greatest team to grace the sport, but because it is fast paced and these mother fuckers are playing their hearts out. When you watch the NBA or the NFL regular seasons, it feels like there is no sense of urgency. NBA players barely even play defense. These guys are making millions win or lose and don’t have much to prove if they don’t want to(that’s what separates the kobes and lebrons from the chaff).
College players have EVERYTHING to prove. You get to literally watch a kid become a man right before your eyes as he grows and gets better on the court throughout the season(if you are a one and done like uofk) or even the whole four years.
I don’t even know where I’m going with this lol….I think it’s about bed time for me.
