Actually i believe one of them was him dragging his feet and the other was a logistics thing. i wasnt bagging out tech for this, but to sign someone like Justin JR here, over Aqualeo who would have been fucking awesome on strange or Snow who is also fucking awesome is just fucking confusing to me.

Either way, I don’t mind Tech N9ne party tracks, I just think his newer ones are really really boring compared to his older ones. They are just so generic.

Agreed, The new party tracks feel less like tech, but i wont rip on him for that, i dont hate them.

This new guy, IDK. I’m not going to give him a chance because that sound doesn’t appeal to me. But you never know. Don’t know anything about him fitting on Strange. I just thought Tech signed artists he thought were dope. I guess he’s too same to really be Strange though.

Besides the fact he’s a carbon copy of every boy band from the 90s and Justin Beiber? 

maybe this dude has something up his sleeve we havent seen yet. but it just does not fit. 

it feels like tech (forgive me for this) is reaching into the mainstream more and more. i havent heard him saying mainstreams going tech in like 2 years. if you cant beat em, join.

next thing you know he’s gunna be doing collabs with juicy J and katy perry.

thats when you know its over.

Absolutely nothing. i love jay rocks shit. but it never fit into strange.

he does real g shit gangsta rap, strange has always been less conventional. Even Kutt to some extent never really fit into the strange music mould.

kutt got by because he was relatively unique. jay rock though, he was never destined to hang around, shit even tech said that. they just bailed him out of warner bros.

hell when the first single of follow me home dropped i knew he wasnt going to last. never mind how fucking good the album was/is.

I stopped buying tech n9ne albums after Killer, about the same time i stopped buying strange music releases

 

I still buy Prozak’s stuff because right now hes the only one thats coming with stuff that isnt like all the garbage i hear on the radio, to me kaliko has become a second rate cee-lo green(and also a horrible live performer, but thats beside the point)

Ces Cru just flat out suck to me, they talk a whole lot without actually saying jack shit

Rittz has good lyrical content sometimes, just cant get into his voice

Same with Brotha Lynch, hes very hit and miss

Stevie Stone is just a carbon copy tech, but i will admit his voice of choruses(like that bukshot “Evil never sleeps” track is dope

i agree, prozaks shit is probably the best strange has got to offer right now.

krizz albums are getting mroe and more eclectic. as if he is reverting slowly to his pre tech n9ne hypeman days. where he wore nothing but plaid pimp suits.

i disagree about ces cru, that are fuckign awesome to me.

rittz has grown on me, but he’s a one trick pony. he raps double time. and thats about it.

i love BLH the mannibelector trilogy is an all time classic for me. but i want his next release.

i can see where your coming from with stevie stone. i like some of his shit, but it sounds like failed mainstream music. malta bend was pretty killer though. had some awesome tracks to it.

im still not sure how i feel about murs, i didnt hate have a nice life. and okie dog is my fucking jam. but yeah, i dunno
