I just feel in my opinion tech feels he’s the messiah of the underground. He’s trying so hard for mainstream approval yet they still reject him. The whole Prozak album I heard was butt. Kutt is butt. Kaliko is ok but that’s it just ok. Lynch is an old man now just tryna make juggalos happy now. I’ve never listened to May day cept on lynchs song. Nor have I heard Stevie stone.

Nah they’re not, they’re a powerhouse of great artists. I agree that Tech is getting a bit repetitive, and often I don’t love the production on a lot of beats. They sound too complex or something. I guess my ears just aren’t too attuned to it. 

Every artist can be enjoyed by someone out there. I personally can’t get into Prozak (flow and voice), but I still am aware of his talent and his appeal. 

So yeah, overall its a phenomenal independent group of artists (sponsored by Monster hahaha), but the only areas of improvement (for my own enjoyment) would be: more unique topics and ideas from Tech, and Krizz perhaps, and some different production. And sign Snow Tha Product if she is willing and contractually available lol. 

strange is highly underrated in my opinion! they got a ton of talent, young talent too like mayday, ces cru, and stevie stone. the new southern powerhouse rittz is taking over, lynch is still making awesome ripgut music(lynch has always been a bit repetitive), prozak is just now coming into his own and his last 2 albums were masterpieces. tech is still putting out great albums he is still trying to be innovative and hasnt changed shit to be accepted. u could put any track from 2013 of his and compare it with any track from calm before the storm and there isnt much difference besides the whole production/quality. i mean the music has grown but its still tech. ive never been into kutt all that much but, krizz??? thats my dude. musical genius. oh and im probably the only one here that bumps big scoob and rdv’s.

I think its funny how you see these main steam band wagon people think they are dark and strange because they listen to Tech.

To me Tech is overrated not strange as a whole, I think Tech overrates himself, and that’s where I lost the appeal. His music started getting so watered down that its just as bad as listening to the radio. Tech is one of the top rappers in the world and deserves his success for sure though.

I agree tech does overrate himself a bit..more so lately it seems..but the dude is crazy talented.He just needs to give some space  between releases.

how could an underground label be overrated? especially when they focus on talent and are responsible for many of the best albums put out last year (mayday, wrekonize, rittz, ces cru, kaliko, tech…all dope)
