He's a one trick pony, man. Every song is the same. Video game reference > Rape reference > homophobia > repeat. Every song. He's got so little depth it's painful. I don't think he has the range to be on a label as big as Strange. I mean, this is just my opinion so you know... Don't cry about it. I don't even dislike him that much. I was super excited by him at first. Thought he had ridiculous potential but everything was exactly the same.

Yeah he peaked early with Filthy Spirit Bomb.
I don't think it was ever the same for him and his Juggalo audience after he dissed Violent J without Twiztid backing him up at all.
They never said publicly they were down with him putting that song out, and things seemed to turn sour between GMO and Majik Ninja shortly thereafter.
My favorite track of his is 6 years old, surprisingly no homophobia rhymes, just clever bars-

You sound wayyy too P.C. to be a juggalo. G mo is horrorcore. It's supposed to be offensive.

Where the fuck are you getting that from? When did I say he was too offensive? I said his songs were all exactly the same. You sound way too gay to be having an opinion on my political views, based on a comment where my political views weren't mentioned once.
Lets not try and pretend homophobia and rape references are exclusive to horrorcore either. I have zero problem with any subject matter, in any form of art.
This is basically every G-Mo song/feature:
"Ill rape your wife to the Zelda theme song whilst Mario puts his little finger in the air and Luigi takes a shit on your dads breakfast with a Filth t-shirt on coz hes a fucking dirty fag. Ill murder every rapper with these words because im just that good. Listen to my shit mixing and mastering that are way below par for a signed rapper. Also... Dragonball Z."
Maybe im wrong but ive never heard him make a song about anything else. Happy for anyone to prove me wrong but everything is Anime, Video Games, Rape, Homophobia all crammed into every song.
No depth

Id like to hear him actually make a song though. Like an actual song with structure, that isnt just the same old shit. His "songs" are just punchlines. Shit bores me so much and I think its why he sort of plateaued a few years ago. People want more, especially when you're trying to reach a more mainstream audience, like he clearly wants.
Im sure he doesn't want to be on the radio or anything but he definitely wants that "Strange" level action and he wont get it with what hes got going on.

Yesh when that "threw the GameCube off the roof" video was released, I was like "hey this guy seems different and interesting"... then I grew up in five minutes and never wanted to hear him again. The last time I heard him was on that Majik Ninjas Rydas album.
Yo that example of his lyrics by NoAwareness is funny as shit. And I also just realized that by typing his name that NoAwareness is a Kool Keith fan. Now I also just realized that G Mo Skee is a fourth rate Kool Keith type rapper.

G-Mo could never be Keith.

I've grown pretty disinterested in strange so I guess it doesn't really matter to me but imo his flows are pretty boring and his lyrics are lazy and unimaginative.
It's easy to be offensive calling people names, but being offensive with a purpose takes skill and depth that he doesn't typically bring to the table.
That said, prozak dropped a lot of the horrorcore kinda stuff when he went to strange and grew as an artist so it could make g mo better maybe?
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

I generally agree with you on G-Mo. It's a shame, I really liked My Filthy Spirit Bomb, I guess the beats did it for me and when it's your first album, the repetitive nature isn't as apparent yet. Everything else he put out felt like a redundant footnote to that album.
This is probably the one song he made that has actual substance to it and is even somewhat personal. It's my favorite of his. It's not exactly deep or touching, but it stands out in his catalog.

Couple of songs posted here are more than I expected from him but it still feels like songs without the same old tropes are hard to come by. Anyway, fuck this guy til he either finds a new angle or seriously changes his shit up. I'm not gonna waste too much time listening to his shit. I got bored of him years ago and he seems like a fucking attention seeking dick too.
I remember when he was on Instagram a few years back talking about how he's too big to be chilling with his fans anymore and how he used to go into the crowd to talk to fans at gigs when he was small-time but he's too big now and he won't be spending time with fans etc... Get over yourself man. You're not Eminem or Tech N9ne, as much as you want to be.
I saw him talking to fans like shit in his comments too. Someone was saying how they hope MNE give him bigger budgets for his videos coz they wanted to see what he could do with some serious cash and he got crazy telling them that people need to stop telling him about what they want from him and let him just do what he wants. Like the guy was a fan telling him he wants his record label to give him more money to bring his ideas to life. Take it as a compliment you fucking diva.
More like "Ho-Mo Skeet"... Amiright?

Just coming back to this because I just learned how dope Skribbal is and this song of his for his son is a good contrast to G-Mo's song for his daughter. It's the difference between a guy who gets it and a guy who doesn't.
