The problem with the song isn’t the fact that it has 2 Chainz, it’s that it just doesn’t sound like a Tech song at all

Tech didn’t go mainstream, the mainstream came to him. He’s always mixed it up with more commercial-sounding stuff so this is no surprise, and honestly, I think 2Chainz is kinda funny so he gets a pass.

That old chestnut eh? mainstream going tech is just something he tells his diehard fans so they dont hate him too much when he does tracks with ‘mainstream’ people, like wayne, bob, wiz khalifa etc. its a load of shit. 

dont get me wrong, i liked those songs  and i didnt completely hate this one. and im sure itll grow on me over time, but his whole schtick on mainstream coming to him wore thin like 7 or 8 years ago.

Just admit that you enjoy being in the flashlight and move along. techs never gunna sell a million albums off one LP, as much love he is getting atm, he is an underground artist, and always will be. mainstream will never truly accept him, because he refuses to conform.

theres not much more uphill for tech no matter what he says. enjoy the good albums while they last. because if tech is still making music in 10 years its probably not going to be half as good as it is now. give it 5 – 7 years and he’ll stop chopping completely, ive heard him say hes struggling to keep up with other artist. whether or not this is him being humble i dont know. But if he is back on the drugs, it can only get worse.

Theres a time and place for songs like that Tech N9ne has many of them and this ones just happens to feature 2Chainz cuz why? Idk but I fux with it, I can bust out that track at a party and the bitches like it aaaaand I get to sneak Tech N9ne into the mix although no one knows him im like yeaaaaa man bumpin strange at party!

He will become even bigger than he is now. Things are changing for the better I think. I mean mainstream has stuff like Kendrick Lamar, J cole etc. And these dudes spit real shit. I want Tech N9ne on tv and radio why not? Only reason I could think of I wouldnt like it is the fact that bitch boys will start bumping it and claiming strange when they are just trendy ass fucks, but hey I dont stop wearing snapbacks just cuz faggy cool people do.
