This is something I see brought up alot by Technicians. Not all Technicians but quite a few say Tech N9ne tries to overshadow all of the other acts signed to the label and that he screws the other acts over and duzn't support the other acts as much as he supports himself. Well I for one don't agree with this at all. Do you guyz follow Kutt Calhouns website, Krizz Kalikos Website, Big Scoobs website, Prozaks website, Stevie Stones website, The Rittz website, and NE other artist who was or is signed to Strange Music or do you only go to Tech N9nes website. Cuz if you are only goin to Tech N9nes website then you only have yourself to blame becuz you the fan are only going to Tech N9nes website. Tech N9ne sends out E-Mail Newsletters informing the fans of all up coming new releases of the other acts who are signed to Strange Music, He even mentions the new releases at the Concerts and says go and buy so and so's latest release at the merch booth. Here iz the reality of the situation. You the fan have to go and purchase these other acts who are signed to Strange Music. Tell a friend to go and buy these artists latest release. Tell that friend to tell a friend to go out and buy these artists latest release. That is how you support these other acts who are signed to Strange Music. Don't go talkin shit about Tech N9ne like your sittin right there day to day with Tech N9ne and the other artists and are seeing Tech N9ne treat these artists shitty. Cuz most of the time you are going off of what someone said they saw, then you go and tell your friend what they said, and your friend goes and tells their friends what you said and then when the dust settles the whole story iz all blown out of context. Quit hatin and just buy these other artists Albums, go to their concerts when they go out on tour, hell buy multiple copies of these other artists new albums if you think it'll help. Thats how you support these other acts, not by talkin shit about Tech N9ne

Nice copy and paste of your last post, but I could attest to Tech N9ne actually promoting other artists on strange, look at his fucking youtube account. Hell, he promotes other artists that aren't on strange; Hopsin and Aqualeo. Kicking and Screaming got a shit load of promotion. Every Friday a music video before the release just to promote it. He gives the artists little minute segments to showcase a song from their upcoming releases to promote them. Mayday has been hyped up as fuck as well.

You can even go back to the extra cd that came with Everready. Strange Music Library was a dope cd that promoted other people. Could we get some kind of back ground for this because I have never heard of it anywhere

Honestly artists who left strange have themselves to blame and are bitter. Strange’s only promotion is online because they are independent. Skatter may be upset but he did songs with strange artists all the way up to 2011. Just bitter, the label isn’t going to do all the work….

Tech and his two hypemen(not a put down), Lynch, and Prozak is all that I like from the roster….Jay Rock and Rittz too but I kinda lump them with Aftermath/Shady Strange is just the distribution pipeline for them.

some artists just want it handed to them
you have to work on hard on making a good record, promote yourself, find good tours and make videos if u can with any resource. if u wait on any label, u most likely arent gonna get any help.

key point, POTLUCK. Im pretty sure when everyone saw them added to subnoize years back they thought potluck would drowned out in the subnoize roster. But Underrated spent time with artists on tour and started relationships producing for twiztid, blaze, kmk and other acts. Potluck did all of it on their own and creating relationships not thru sub noize.

Nobody on this thread is affiliated with Strange nobody does actual business with them. Purchasing a T-shirt or cd don't count. Besides I was referring to the title kiddo.

its an indie recored label. the biggest artist always brings in the most money therefore the most money is spent on him. tech did it on his own, but everyone expects tech to do the work for them. nahh he does what he can, go start a business and put a ton a fo money into something not selling. guess what??? ur business is fucked and now ur done…..its a business not some happy hold hands bullshit like that. u dont like the company bail out like skatter and snug did. oh and if skatt and snug are so dope where they been??? living off the strange money and now its dwindleling. idk, there trying just like psy. thats why psy and strange sell the most. subnoize sells shit……imo

Totally but kaliko needs to b pushed harder anf further he has the potential and all around skills to b bigger than tech could ever dream.
Not limited to rapping he should b on tv his face should b on billboards around kc
