kmks central message:  'we smoke weed better than you do.'

yeah, theyve pretty much made their point by now.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I stopped listening when they started talking about doing a bunch of other drugs in their songs besides weed...I don't mind the talk about alcohol or even psychedelics but once you're talking about coke and E and whatever else it really just makes them look like jackasses for trying to prove the point that potheads are people too and not just druggies...as far as D Loc someone told me he had a drug overdose or some bullshit a few years back and killed some of his brain cells off in the process which is why he sounds like he's half retarded now on songs...I liked their addition of Dirtball in the group because lyrically he brings a lot and they needed a fresh look but now whenever I listen it feels like "oh shit its Dirtball....AND those other guys"...also no more Pakelika anymore :(

Yep I heard the overdose thing as well. Back in 2005 when he broke his foot apparently he became addicted to pain pills and ended up OD'ing. From 2006-2010 he was horrible on the mic, but he seems to be getting his flow back. He was pretty damn good on Sunrise Sessions IMO

kmk had a weird era with "Rollin Stoned". D-Loc had a lot of referrences to pills which was new since they were a pro-marijuana group. out here in cali the rumor is D-Loc did E alot and killed some brain cells and got off it. KMK was losin its fanbase, but they dropped Kingspade and out here in cali kids that used to mock em and diss em, started dressin like them. its weird cuz "bros" were born out of kingspade and most of them hate kmk and even the whole juggalo scene..

as far as D-Loc, he had his slumps musically. but i think hes on point with the latest solo albums and with dirtball in the group he seems to be hungry again.

if u dont smoke weed then dont play kmk. im from cali with a medical marijuana card and out here if u dont blaze, ur considered an outsider. the wicket shit in cali is a distant dream, we can relate to the kings more.

KMK puts on a good show but as far as listening to their music all the time I don't.Dirtball helped make them step it up though.

Kottonmouth Kings are the shit. I've been down since 99 and I never lost interest. Still one of my faves.

I Got mad Love for Kottonmouth Kings, 'cause I can relate to them probably more than any other rapper or rap group out there, they live the same kind of life style me and my friends do, we're daily weed tokers, sometimes dealers, sometimes growers, Love to Skateboard and love Reggae and old school hardcore punk, I've been down since Royal Highness and I've only missed a few shows...

i just love their beats too dude, especially when they blend hip hop with punk, or hip hop with Reggae thats my shit! and I just Love the Positivity that flow out of their music, nothing but good vibes.

as for D-Loc, there was that period where it seemed like all he was rappin about was his Name D-Double Dash this D-Double dash that... hahaha me and my homies always just kind of laughed at that shit, but he still spit alot of dope shit too, Daddy X and Richter have always dropped dope Lyrics, D-Loc got plenty of Dope rhymes though too.

I Love Dirtball but his voice just doesn't seem to fit in with the Group, something about it, I mean I'm 50/50 on him being in the group, part of me think's it's Fresh and part of Me just wants the Old KMK back with Saint Dog and Dog Boy, except leave Richter in it.

Royal Highness is by far my favorite album from the kings, they had a whole different sound back then. And yes d-loc fell way the fuck off. He is absolute garbage now when he raps, honestly making them hard to listen to sometimes. And daddy x isn't all that great either. For awhile Richter was the only member worth while, and they mostly talk about nothing but smoking weed, which I love to do, but don't need to listen to 27,000 songs about it. but just as I stopped paying attention to them they added dirtball, best business decision they ever did, he brought a whole new shine to the group and really re-energized them in my opinion.
