I agree entirely I just mean hes making moves, hes been on tour with the Dirty Heads all summer, and just released imo his most cohesive album yet. Whether anyone likes him or not hes not stuck in the bullpen ala Potluck and others on the label.

Lil Wayne is the Peter Griffin of rap. He throws so many similes and metaphors out there, like how FG throws jokes of all brows, tastes, and wavelengths, that some are bound to stick to the filter and be labelled good or funny or clever. Its a smart approach.
No hate for either LW or FG however. I enjoy both at times. FG more often.
But I agree LTB, Wayne can’t help but remind me of a pretentious confused hipster ex friend who said shit like “weezys so good he should be his own genre”. I can’t respect any homo sapiens that says phrases like that.
