This article was just put up a few days ago, very debatable list-

“The Top 17 Rappers From Canada Not Named Drake”
Canada is huge, full of rappers. HipHopDX’s Mike Trampe gives us a breakdown of who to check for outside of Aubrey “Drake” Graham.
Whether you believe Drake started from the bottom or not, there are a handful of Canadian rappers who did and who are still making their way in the game. We could break you off with Drake’s top lines or the best Drake disses in our comment section, but we’ll save that for you to argue amongst yourselves.
Canada has been breeding dope emcees for years now. Unfortunately, a lot of them get lost in the Drake and Justin Bieber circus. Fortunately for you, HipHopDX has our ear to the street and we put together a list of the dopest Canadian rappers to touch the mic.
Grab a Molson (if you’re of age), fry some bacon and get your sizzurp ready…..Maple that is. It’s time for The Top 17 Rappers From Canada……..Not Named Drake.

What about Snow? Informer song. That dude is old school.
Good call dude I love Snow. I still bump his album “Mind on the Moon” on occasion. This list is a joke. My feeling- it was written by a young person who has a limited knowledge of the history of the rap game here in Canada.Major omissions for me- Prevail from Swollen Members, The Dream Warriors,Mood Ruff, Kish, The Rascalz, Choclair, Sweatshop Union. Even Tom Green’s old rap group Organized Rhyme was fresher than a lot of the rappers on this wack list. Here is the video for Organized Rhyme’s biggest hit “Check the O.R.”

Finally some love for K-OS!!
One of my favorite artists overall. He plays his own instruments, sings and rhymes. Play the album “Joyful Rebellion” all the way through. Great great album.
Some of my favorite K-OS tracks:
Crucial
Sunday Morning
I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman
Emcee Murdah
Dirty Water
Crabbuckit
Love Song
So so many… check him out.
Also I discovered from Cracked today that Tom Green was in a Canadian rap group called Organized Rhyme.
“Check the O.R.” was the track

Yeah that whole album is flawless. “Exit” “Atlantis” and “Yes!” Had some hype shit too but Joyful is the milestone.

@the_almighty_smack, Have you heard of Brothers Grim? They are a Canadian rap group ( youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/GrimEmpire ). They were our Gathering neighbors back in 2012. Super cool guys.
I may have already mentioned this to you many months ago… I forget if I did or not.
