KMK had a somewhat unadvertised reunion show on July 6 in a small bar. 24 hours before the show, the venue sent an email that due to unforeseen circumstances, Saint would not be performing and refunds were offered but Loc and Richter would be playing anyway. The show was sold out. At the show they said Saint was on house arrest and is unable to leave his halfway house. This seems to be the reason there are not additional dates scheduled for the new album.

Its lame that KMK did not make this announcement earlier, they obviously knew he would not be there. It is stranger that the setlist was all over the place, most of the new album…but not Saint’s verses, and a song or two from each of the earlier albums. They could have performed as Kingspade and then played a second KMK set or any number of other options.

None of this takes away from the return of KMK, but there is no explanation for the lack of updates, similar to the album pre-order disaster a few months ago.
