Is there even a thread on this album? Or am I blind and can't find it?

I spend too much time on the Internet and make music sometimes. http://www.soundcloud.com/theresolution5

Yeah honestly this is my favorite album of them since I heard High Society, Rollin Stoned & Hidden Stash II. I never was a huge fan of Saint Dog or Richter so hearing just X, Dirtball and D-Loc was basically the album I always wanted to hear. Sure, the lyrics / subject matter hasn't really changed over the years but those beats sure make up for it.

I've pretty much had KMK in my ears since i was 11 or 12 and got involved in stoner culture.. I've always liked a few songs here and there.. but saint dog is ONE OF THE WORST RAPPERS TO EVER EXIST. They've only got 3 albums I can actually say I like as projects. Long live the kings, Sunrise Sessions, and Mile High. That time where Dirtball came in, they all had to step up their lyrical game, and Richter was still there with the melody/soul of the group. Those are magic albums. Krown Power is pretty dope but I miss the soul that Johnny Richter brough to choruses.

I remember when royal highness came out....those were the days. After that they kinda lost me. Liked a couple songs here and there but I'll most likely look into this album.

Got it today. On my 2nd listen right now. This shit is awesome. Favorite tracks right now are "Permastone", "Pump Up Da Bass", "Keep Movin'", ... Okay fuck it. It's easier to say I'm enjoying 90% of this album.

Just got it. So far it is good only 3 songs in at the moment though first track alone ( Our City) got me excited. Hoping to finish it when I wake up.

After a few listens front to back, it's easier to say what songs I didn't like, because there's only 4 I can't get into. I know I said I liked "Pump Up Da Bass", but eh, it got old fast. "TBH", "Dope Thang", and "Time". That's it. Besides for those 4 songs, I love the rest of Krown Power. 14 out of the 18 songs presented on Krown Power I like. Well done KMK.batman

Finished the album finally however. This thread needs moved this was not a Suburban Noize production nor is KMK signed with Suburban Noize anymore.

Well, Daddy X still owns part of Suburban Noize, he's just been locked out of it somehow. I'm not too sure about the details on that. But the Kottonmouth Kings could still be considered Suburban Noize...???

Maybe @nyro is right. Perhaps this should be under the Horrorcore/Underground section.

That is for his solo project. The actual band KMK has parted ways with them.

Solo project? What does that mean?

He raps solo also. As well as being a part of 3 groups including KMK.

That seems kind of odd. All that drama going on with Daddy X and Suburban Noize and he's still putting out solo projects with them?
